I love the additional loop on the collar that I can grab if we encounter rabbits or squirrels, which she loves to chase. I can pull her closer to me with a firm grip. Very helpful with training! It's a very durable structural wise. It definitely won't come off your dog unless you want it to. I love the quick release. But also that it has multiple support points, therefore it shouldn't rip or tear and fall off...ever!! Also the tactical handle has been great for when he's not on a leash and I've needed to grab him quickly. Some strings do stragle but I just burn them and they don't come back. Otherwise it shows no signs of wear unlike many others I've tried. Been using for about 6 months now. I have a 10mo old Cane Corso/ Pitbull and he's very ruff on things. My only complaint would be how big his neck is growing so I did have to increase a size, but that was my fault as I purchased the first just as he was in the middle of both size range and growing quickly! My second purchase was the large from the medium, I do like that you have some grow room as well with each collar, so I would suggest doing measurements on your dog before purchase and keep in mind growing room! This review is for the collar and leash package. I bought the pink and purple for my two dogs. I'll update this review in a few months for durability. Four stars because the collars are well made. Better than I expected for the price. Seems comfortable on my pups. The colors are bright and beautiful, and match well with what is displayed online. The velcro is strong and seems secure. I bought the large, which fits both my adult 60lb Pitbull x German Shepherd mix and 50lb English Mastiff pup perfectly, with room to expand when necessary. I will be buying a larger size in this collar when my puppy is grown if it is as durable as it seems to be. On the other hand, the leash is terrible. The handle is just a large loop of nylon that isn't particularly comfortable to hold. It has a lot elasticity in the leash - terrible for teaching my 4 month old Mastiff pup not to pull. I'm sure it would be fine for my adult dog that does not pull on a leash, but it feels cheap and I honestly kind of hate it. Don't waste your money on the leash. ... show more

I have gotten many dog collars over the years for my 6-year-old Pitbull, German Sheppard. so, when you get a new collar, you can kind of just tell how it's going to work out. So far i love this collar and the fact that it has a handle that I can hold when putting him on his line outside. it fits very well, very sturdy material, heavy duty buckle. when it says military grade, it means it! Now if i can find a dog bed that he can't rip up in a 5-minute span id be in heaven. will recommend for other dog owners who want a comfortable, sturdy and versatile collar to get one of these. 10 out of 10. 5 stars all around. ... show more

my dogs head is a little to small for harness and most collars--this is perfect, she cannot slip out of it!!! The handle is perfect for crossing streets and/or correcting behavior. it is pretty durable, her play mate, a big pit likes to grab and bite/hold it--has held up. great price and is a better option for those with small head dogs (whippet, greyhounds, tiny headed muts) than martingale ... show more

I liked the dog collar, heavy duty and looks good. Collar is very wide, so not recommend for small dogs. Had the dog collar for a couple of month and the metal buckle is already broken, still closes. Collar is not very soft Probably will not buy again.

As a former Belgian Malinois Rescue coordinator, I purchased these collar and leash combinations to hand off my foster Belgian malinois their new fur-ever families. I myself have purchased this collar and leash combo items for our 3-Belgian Malinois Boxer over the years and have only had one collar fail. I didn’t even bother to return the call. I’ve had such success with this product. I knew it was an anomaly. if you have large, high-energy dogs the handle on the collar is a quick hold and is sturdy. When walking the dog, the second handle on the leash towards the class, is excellent for walking at intersections and around children or whenever extra secure hold is needed.
