I could get this work on my North Face backpack strap but it took some bending of one side of the velcro which created less velcro connection space and a lump in the closure. I would get a thicker strap or customize your backpack strap before I'd take it on a high activity ride or run. ... show more

Rather than using an Osmo Pocket 3 I mounted my Osmo Action camera on it and it works great! The mount comes with everything needed for an Osmo Pocket, but I used hardware which I already had for my Action camera to secure it on the mount. Strapping it on my chest rig was effortless and has not fallen off during use. The picture is slightly canted but a little movie magic on video editing software fixed that. The quality is good, and the manufacturer made extra effort to protect the product from damage. Highly recommended. ... show more

I got this for mounting my Osmo pocket 3 and or Osmo action (swappable mount) on my backpack strap for recording travel. While the Osmo pocket 3 does stick up quite a bit, I found the mount to be secure and comfortable. I actually prefer it with the Action camera as I'm always concerned about the gimbal on the osmo. I find the digital stabilization to be satisfactory when using the mount and the action camera. Overall the strap mount provides a very secure and easy to install velcro mount and solid mounting for the camera. I imagine it would work with other action cameras (GoPro etc.) as well. ... show more

This is really just a generic GoPro mount for a strap that they threw in a little DJI Pocket "clamp". It's not the best design and introduces a lot of vibration due to the way it mounts but it's better than nothing. If you need this for B-roll or background shots it will be fine.

Sometimes I didn't want to hold the camera with my hands while traveling, but this solved the problem. It allowed me to secure the DJI in my bag. I have to use the app when I start the camera, but I liked it because my hands were free when I walked around
