    • Just an alarm clock
This is fine if you just want a cordless alarm clock. I chose it because I did want cordless but it just doesn't do what I need it to. The light comes on at the set time with unconvincing wave sounds and 30 seconds later, beeping. So it will wake you up. I'm returning it and purchasing one that, I hope, will turn on the light gradually, and the light will stay on and with a radio option. I will have to move it farther from the bed to plug it in. I can't speak to the sunset function as that isn't important to me and I didn't try it. ... show more

    • Lots of Features! Almost fit my Needs
This is a very amazing alarm clock/noise machine/night light. It is a good quality and has so many features so I'll give it 5 stars even though it does not do the one thing I wanted from it. PROS - Rechargeable: This is especially useful for traveling. The battery will last all night long though I would keep it plugged in since I don't imagine it'll last longer than one night. - Variety of Lights: There are so many options for night lights. There are solid colors, wavy colors, changing colors, etc. - Brightness: The brightness levels can go from 1 to 9 with the knob. - Variety of Sounds: There are a lot of sounds to choose from There are also unique light shows that go with those lights. - Alarm: The clock is big and visible though the clock lights can be turned off if preferred. There are also two alarms that can be used. - Easy Control Buttons: It took a minute to figure out how to use the controls but they're easy to physically use. They're accessible and the knob is nice for quick changes. - Adjustable volume: Definitely nice feature to have. CONS - No separate light/sound combination: Specifically, I wanted to use a solid warm light for a night light and white noise for sleeping. I found the noise that I wanted but there is a different light scene than the one I wanted. I cannot individually choose the sound I want and the light that I want.     • Don't jolt yourself!
This is hands down the BEST alarm clock that I have ever owned! I hate being startled awake, especially from a deep sleep. When that happens, I feel like I can’t get the “fog” to go away throughout the day. But with this gem right here, I sleep in a very dark room and it gradually wakes you with changing colors that mimic a sunrise, as nature intended and then the final wake up. I hear birds chirping. This alarm clock has allowed me to wake up more efficiently than using my phone alarm. By using the sounds they have given you in the alarm clock, waking up in the morning has never been better. As I open my eyes the sunrise color coming from the alarm clock is just enough light for me to wake up smoothly unlike our phone alarms that basically scare us out of our sleep. I’ve seen reviews on these alarm clocks and decided to give it a try and I have used it every night ever since it arrived at my house. Definitely recommend. ... show more

    • It’s Not a Sunrise Clock :(
I initially wanted this clock because it worked on a battery, not AC power. I also thought it would slowly display a warm glow as it got closer to the alarm setting - it doesn’t. In fact, the light comes instantly on as the alarm sounds. I like the natural (-like) sounds for alarm sounds, but they only last for one minute of a three minute alarm. After one minute, you get the digital BiBeep sound. If you do nothing, it’ll automatically reset and snooze for nine more minutes. I also thought I’d get a choice of not only sounds but of colors for my alarm. I can choose the sound, but the color(s) are pre-chosen. I guess it also depends on what time the alarm is set for, which seems a bit ridiculous. • Having the capability of two alarms is nice. • Having the use of a multi-function dial is also really helpful. • I appreciate being able to set the volume of the alarm. • The ease of setting the time and alarm functions is also a good thing. • I like being able to set the brightness of the clock and the color display. • It keeps good time. Beyond all that, I’m a little disappointed. I don’t use or need the falling asleep function. I again wish the light would slowly brighten as the alarm time gets closer. The battery seems to last a good long time. It appears to be a durable little clock. It had fallen about six feet onto a concrete floor, landed on the top dial (it popped off), then bounced a few more feet. I easily replaced the dial and the clock continues to function fine. No breakage. Anyway, my search continues for that perfect battery powered sunrise clock. ... show more
