Great product. I am a fan of the super white (almost blue) light so I bought the 6k version. Downstairs with our high cielings the lights look and work fantastic. However upstairs where we have standard cieling height the lights are too bright. I'm 6'2 and simply looking across the room the lights blind me. If I glance upward for even a second I'm seeing stars and have to close my eyes to refocus. Also I'm not a master electrician but these lights have no ground wire, which is new for me as every light or cieling fan I've ever installed has a ground.(even led) Not sure what to think of it, but electrical without grounds scare me. ... show more

Definitely try each light before you install definitely the boxes are sometimes bad make sure you put them very close to the holes that you are cutting out to receive the actual light.. already had some that have stopped working ...at least two inverter boxes out of EACH of the three cases I have ordered are bad from the get-go.. be careful with these make sure you do your math and have the boxes accessible cuz I've also had other lights that are now dead in the ceiling!!! ... show more

They take minutes to install and a couple of hours to figure out what is wrong with each one. Make sure you test EVERY light before installing. Sometimes the boxes are bad. Sometimes the it's the light. It is Friday night. I have a drywaller coming on Monday and I am trying to decide if I should go buy another version of this. Once it is behind sheetrock, it will be difficult to fix a problem. If they are a problem during installation, how long will they last? Follow Up... The drywaller came on Monday and now I have a nice, new plaster ceiling...one where, even after all my extensive checking...there are two working lights and two dead ones. My advice is to not buy these. But, if you do, make sure you leave enough Romex slack to pull them through the hole and replace the whole thing later. What a disappointment. I'm getting in touch with the manufacturer to get my money back. Follow Up 2 I have gotten in touch with Sunco via E Mail , told them my problem, and heard back from them that the window on returns is closed. I asked about their advertised 7 year warranty. Waiting for reply. Follow Up 3 After going back and forth with a guy named Diego and making no progress, I ended up calling the company. I got someone named Lorena who told me they got a bad batch of these last summer, apologized, and sent me replacements. Aside from the problem that they were bad to begin with, the real problem here was a help desk guy who didn't help much. Problem resolved. ... show more
