I have been using this product for years in my machine embroidery. Just stick to the back of your hook and lay the item to be embroidered on to. The stickiness holds your fabric and there is no need to "hoop" your fabric. Saves time and frustration!

Iโ€™d recommend this for smaller hoops like 4x4. Iโ€™d youโ€™re hooping a 6x10, this is too narrow. Other than that it works well. The paper peels nicely and the adhesive holds the fabric well. Great for hard to hoop items. I used it for some baby bibs and it worked well.

Love this stabilizer! I use it in my 100mm x 100mm machine embroidery hoop, and it is perfect for what I need. I love that the insert in the package even helps you save money by explaining how the embroidery area can be patched a few times before losing adhesion. I certainly use enough of it that they don't have to worry about losing money! It sticks very well during embroidery, and removes easily when finished. I ran out of the Sulky Sticky Self-Adhesive a year ago and figured I didn't really need it any longer, I was wrong... The Sulky stabilizer has made positioning the embroidering design on "pre-made" double pocket aprons a breeze. And since I change my needle after every project anyway, the minute sticky residue left on the needle is not a problem for me. I would not recommend this for loose loop/weave towels, it will pull up the threads :-( ... show more
