I have only one problem with the pen. The on and off button is also the charging port but the pen allows me to turn it on. I’m not able to turn it off so it stays on eating my battery. The pen itself works awesome I have no complaints there super happy in that department.

Definitely worth the buy and soon I will be ordering another one just to have two. It’s easy to loose so try to keep up with it or buy something to put it in. Connected easily to iPad. Didn’t have any trouble with it at all.

No app is needed. I interchangeably use it between iPad 9th gen and IPad 10th gen with No issues. It doesn’t lag nor glitch. I use this pen to take notes for school and work so I use it ALOT. It also comes with several pen tips for replacement, which is easy to change out. Battery lasts all day, maybe even up to 3 days depending on what you’re doing. I do own an Apple Pen 1st gen, but I don’t use it because it’s heavy! And if you take a lot of notes like I do, the sport pen tires your hand- it is noticeably heavier. Besides, the sport pen requires you to install it to your iPad, and say if you want to use another non Apple pen it interferes with it via connection. I now use 2 non brand pens as back up’s and neither give me issues. But if the Apple pen was my back up, it interferes stiff connection and lags or glitches this pen. So keep that in mind. I love this pen, I use it a lot as my go to, and I’m glad I bought it. But it, you won’t regret it. If you’re not a professional artist, you don’t need the Apple pen, you’ll want this trust me!!! I recommend this pen for all! ... show more

This pen worked great for all of 6 weeks. It started with the battery dying, faster, and faster with every charge and by week 5, it would no longer stay charged for more than an hour at a time, despite being fully charged overnight. Then about week 6, I started having problems with the tip. I replaced the tip with one of the replacements that came in the box, and even the replacements did not work. Now the only way I can use this pen is by removing the tip and using the raw metal sensor tip inside, which is not good for my iPad screen at all. I guess you get what you pay for, but this doesn’t even seem worth the $20 it's priced at. ... show more
