Description

With the STANLEY J5C09D digital jump starter and power station, you no longer need to dread roadside emergencies when your vehicle won't start. This compact, portable device delivers serious jump-starting power with 1200 peak amps. That's enough power to jump-start your car, truck, SUV, motorcycle, boat, RV, ATV, or tractor; all without the need to use another vehicle for assistance. Simply connect the clamps to the battery, turn on the switch and start your vehicle. The reverse polarity alarm will alert you when there is an improper connection. A high-powered LED light rotates 270 degrees to help you work in low light situations. This jump starter is equipped with a 120 PSI air compressor to help inflate tires with low pressure. Equipped with (3) 3.1A USB ports which come in handy to charge your phone and electronic devices. It features an integrated charging cube that allows you to charge using a standard household extension cord (not included.) For optimal performance, the unit should be charged every 30 days when not in use. Once used, the unit should be charged immediately overnight. Includes a limited 1 year manufacturer warranty.

I have a disability conversion van for my daughter, and it has quite a few problems. In it's defense, it is 20 years old (she is not), and since I bought it 5 years ago it has had something going on for pretty much that whole time. One of my largest concerns is being stranded because it will not start. Well, this solves that problem perfectly. Due to some electrical gremlin, the battery, while fine, will discharge quickly, sometimes as fast as 1 hour. Other days, it will start up 3 days after it last ran. It is a shot in the dark (sometimes literally, it is winter as I write this). As such, it needs a jump almost every time we start it. And this makes it simple, quick, and worry free. I have used it 2-3 times per week, if not more on busy weeks where we have to use it for many appointments, and it has only been charged once, and that is cause my father wanted to make sure it was good to go. No problems hooking it up, is nice and light so it is easy to move, and is the perfect size to sit on the flat portion of the engine bay so no concerns about it falling off. The only problem I have, and it is very minor, is that aiming the light can be a bit difficult as it only has 1 degree of movement, so it might not shine directly where I need it unless I twist the whole device, which upsets the balance on the surface it sits on slightly. Overall, the best thing I have purchased in quite some time, and something that everyone should have in their garage. It is a low enough cost it can be on standby, and there for when you might need it. It is reliable enough that it can be used to start your vehicle every time it starts if needed. And it is a perfect size if you need to keep it in your vehicle. It can sit under a seat, in the corner of your trunk, or even behind the spare tire in the back portion of the van like I have. ... show more

This Stanley 1200 AMPNCharging Station is pure junk. Do not waste your money. I bought it because of the Stanley name which is worthless and now owned by a company called Baccus Global in Boca Raton, FL. I called them to try to resolve the issue and they sent paper work to return it .TO MAKE MATTERS WORSE THE LED SCREEN DOES NOT WORK - See picture They would not cover freight so the cost of freight would have been half what I paid So not putting good money after bad. It does not keep a charge for more than three days and has an error message on the LED that cannot be cleared. I paid $110.00 and will never see that again. SAVE YOUR MONEY THIS IS JUNK AND THE STANLEY NAME IS NOT WHAT IT ONCE WAS. AMAZON SHOULD NOT CARRY THE STANLEY PRODUCT ! ... show more

Air compressor is slow the battery charger is good everything else works good. Bought it mainly to be able to jump start the vehicles I have because if your out in the middle of a not so well used road then you have a way to get yourself out of the situation.

I liked the concept of the portable power unit but it has not worked for me. I followed the instructions in the enclosed sheet & the power unit appeared to take a charge over a time span of about 3 days. I connected it to the car I wanted to jump & it would not provide enough power to start the car. I than used it as a compressor which it worked at very well. Than I let it sit for about 3 weeks & monitored the level of charge as the instructions said. When the charge decayed I hooked the charger up to a 120V outlet & it has not charged up enough to light the light to be able to use it. Would like to return the worthless thing. ... show more

I have to say that the air pump is my favorite because gas station places NEVER replace their equipment, sometimes leaving you with LESS pressure.. Simply dial in the PSI and start, see progress and done!
