My 3 year old got this for her birthday and she LOVES it. She tries to climb and swing and is getting better and braver with it. Highly suggest anchoring on the ground to allow for ease of climbing. Our children have pretty much outgrown the swing set in our backyard, but they still need LOTS of outdoor play each day. They are constantly climbing the trees in our yard, so on a whim I bought this climbing rope and another swing with a disc seat. They LOVE this. It has brought lots of fun already. It’s well made and will hold up well. It is a couple inches shorter than advertised. Mine is closer to 6’ I used mine to help climb a rock wall so not a big deal.

This is a good fit for our natural-materials playground. The platforms are larger and more sturdy than they look. The structure that will hold this is not yet complete, and the grandkids haven't seen this yet, but it will be a huge hit!

Got this to hang from our ceiling monkey bars in the basement. Our kids love to climb and swing on it. It's solidly built and great quality. It's getting a lot of use in our house. Very happy with our purchase.

We bought this on Prime Day. Our friends had one and they zipped to the top like it was nothing, but my kids, same ages 5 and 7, could barely climb up two pegs and we're afraid to go any higher. So I bought it, hoping my kids would gain some confidence and strength. Within a week both my kids were climbing to the top, asking me to pull them so they could swing while sitting on top peg. They were beyond proud of themselves, as was mom and dad. There is always a line when friends are over to use the rope swing, always. Ours is hanging from a branch about 18 feet up and we have a nice open area for the kids to swing. Totally worth it! ... show more

    • Strong but slippery
It appears relatively well made. However, the rope material has a plastic-y feel to it and is quite slick, unlike a more traditional rope. Still, my 8 year old can make it work with the platforms.
