I’ve only used Norvell which works great but I think I like this solution better. Dried really fast, barely any sticky feeling the the smell factor went way down. With Norvell I stunk until I showered and even after still had a musky scent. This formula there was only a hint and after shower very faint if at all. I also liked the color it gave me. I have a healthy glow with this and don’t look like a got sprayed. I really like this for winter and may try the medium for summer. I’m very fair and sensitive to everything and this worked great with my skin. I’ll be using all winter for sure to just give me that little glow I’m looking for. ... show more

I bought this to find a more natural alternative to the usual spray tan solution. At first I wasn’t sure it was dark enough because as you’re spraying it on, there doesn’t appear to a bronzer in it which CAN make it a tiny bit more difficult to see where you’re applying. But the next day you’re a nice golden color and you forget about that small con. The best thing about this solution is that it doesn’t fade patchy. As for the color, I got light No. 6. I’m a lighter skin tone for sure and this was the perfect amount of color. I’m not sure how some reviewers didn’t notice it. I've tried a few different solutions. The one most talked about is usually Norvell. Norvell isn't bad, but this one is better. I liked everything about this spray tan solution. It covered well and looked like a natural tan. It also faded like a natural tan. It did not leave you with that tanning smell that many often do. I will purchase this again. ... show more

I have my own spray tan business and have tried many solutions. This is the best for fair skinned & for a natural winter glow. I was impressed how one coat gave the perfect shade for winer without over doing it. But if you want to be darker I just did two coats and it was amazing. Does NOT tien you orange at all nor does it leave streaks. Just make sure to exfoliate before and then use a prep spray before the initial application. I use a tan extender lotion in-between to stay moisturized and too continue to gradually build color up. Look forward to trying different shades of this in near future ... show more

I purchased this because my friend recommended this brand and it is amazing! I don't use a spray tanning machine, I use a mitt and apply the liquid to the mitt (yes, I know, not the best)...I was so nervous about doing it but even the first time it turned out flawless. I have also used the automatic spray tan machines at retail stores and this is 100% better application, color, and lasts way longer. So I used this as self tanner. How? I got one of those foaming soap dispenser things and put this stuff in it. And it works! I have never had a tan be so even and smooth. it looks good and it's not sticky or streaky. I personally love this and will for sure buy again.

I got the No 6 light blend because I’m not ginger pale but pale enough. I put this on with a self tanning mitt and immediately saw I’m brown, at least two shades darker. It looks a little dirty at the moment but I think it’ll just look nice after a shower. 4 stars only because I wish it had an easy flow top. Definitely a lifer now! ... show more

This light blend is perfect for lighter skin tones, but it definitely has a pinch of dark to it. I used it on a friend who was fair skinned, and it still made her look extremely tan. On me, you can barely notice it, but it is still a nice touch. I love sjolie products they are by far the best!
