I have a two year old Cavachon and it was love at first sight when he got this bear! I bought a plush and this leather one at the same time. The plush was kicked to the curb. This bear has taken a beating every day. He is chewed, thrown, beaten on the floor and is still intact. It's made out of super tough leather, not flimsy glove like stuff. I know that eventually, bear will die and my Charlie's heart will break . All good things come to an end. It's very tough but nothing is indestructible. So, I believe I'm going to order another one as a back up. They are so worth it! ... show more

Leather outside thin and poorer quality than our older ones. Also this was stuffed with quilting batting like material, not coconut or other natural fiber. Grateful to have caught it quick to remove the stuffing and the loose plastic squeaker. Won’t recommend.

It's certainly not chew-proof, but my pup loves it. It's stuffed with straw, so I'm not worried about her eating the filling and the leather doesn't shred so she can't eat tiny bits of fabric, either.

Our Australian Cattle Dog puppy loves (destroying) it! She’s chewed off it’s legs and pulled out all the stuffing. There’s a lot. It’s actually a layer of relatively thin leather on canvas. I’d recommend it for dogs that aren’t REALLY aggressive chewers… although, even legless and disemboweled, she plays with it. ... show more

We have a dog that is a fairly heavy chewers. She loves these but basically destroys them right away. She will periodically go back to the leather scraps and play with them. Even though they don't last with our dog, I would buy again bc she seems to enjoy them. I would not recommend if you can't trust your dog not to swallow filling or leather bits. Photos are of usually what is left after my dog rips the thing apart. ... show more

Our pit bull got 4 toys for Christmas. The first one lasted about 45 minutes. The second and third made it a couple days. By the New Year, the buffalo was the only survivor because the dog showed no interest in it. It was March before he showed any interest but when he did, he managed to tear it up in just a few days. The picture shows the hole he made today. Once he gets to the stuffing, we throw it away and begin the search for the next “indestructible” toy. ... show more
