Good quality wood is used and it has a nice grip. Needed some stroking to make it playable for leather ball but ready for hard tennis ball. Right weight as well.

    • A bit heavy but curvy
This is a good bat for playing power hitting cricket. The bat has curved end which makes it easier to hit the ball longer and higher. This is a bit heavier than what I am used to but I wanted some Kashmir willow so it's good. I started knocking the bat so hoping to play long with it

Substantial yet light in weight, the bat is curved in the rear to produce a thick wooden batting surface. The willow material makes for crisp strokes at the wicket.

I know absolutely nothing about cricket. A good friends son plays and we needed to get him a gift and he asked for this bat by name, so I am guessing that this means it is a quality bat as he is a quite competitive player. Everyone should have a cricket bat; you just never know when you might need one. Why just last week Scarlett Johansson knocked on my door and asked if I happened to have a cricket bat handy; I said of course I did. Well, I retrieved the bat, then one thing led to another… I told Scarlett she could keep the bat, waved goodbye, and immediately ordered 47 more cricket bats. I didn’t really meet Scarlett Johansson. I actually got this because I know virtually nothing about the game, though most of my island friends know it and love it. Seeing this bat every day has finally gotten me to read about cricket and watch some matches, something I promised I would do. Displaying the bat has made me a big hit (do not even think it) with my friends. I’ve learned about a fascinating game.
