I've been thru 3 other cases that housed the pen and although they did the trick, they weren't very sturdy (the corners cracked with the smallest stop or bump), and the pen placement was either on the back or on the hinge which made the phone super bulky or awkward when laying flat on a surface. This case by Spigen has the feel and durability of a premium case, keeps the phone slim in your pocket, and has the ingenious pen storage next to the front screen. The pen storage compartment is snug and secure, and provides the ability to remove/replace the pen easily. When closed, it's a little awkward getting to the power button/fingerprint reader at first because the pen kind of hides it, but after about a week I got used to it and haven't had any problems since. Also when closed the width of the phone is similar to the width of my old Galaxy S9 Plus. I would highly recommend this case for Z Fold 3 users that like to use the pen a lot. ... show more

Of all the cases available for the Galaxy Z Fold 3 this is the most perfect solution yet and I've tried seven this is not a case you'll be taking on and off as it does require and come with glue strips to hold it in place however I only used the one thin glue strip to the left of the home screen and none of the others with that the case stays in place perfectly and doesn't move at all this case is very sturdy there was no need for using all the glue strips no you don't get hinge protection it does not show fingerprints and it is a whole lot easier to open with this case on the s pen is accessible and I don't find it difficult to remove the pen this case is functional protective and does a really great job if there is anything not to like about this case it's that it changes the aesthetic look of the phone this is a beautiful $2,000 phone the case is a bit too rugged looking I would love someone to come out with something as protective and functional but a bit richer and classy looking but this is just a thought or opinion the case does its job and it does it really well better than anything else available I voice typed this review so please excuse the poor punctuation so in summary I don't give this much in the looks department but in every other way it's a fantastic case I'd pay a couple hundred dollars for a hand stitched genuine cowhide leather case with all this functionality somebody please make one and oh yeah don't forget the pen holder! ... show more

I love my spiegen phone cases for their durability and protection. The case is very slim and doesn't interfere with the touch or writing functions on the phone. The pen holder is the most secure that I have found to date. My only caveat with this, is that the tape used to attach the case to the phone is extremely strong which makes it very hard to remove the case if you need to take the cover off for any reason. ... show more

I like this product as it protects the phone and has an SPen holder. For the older ZFold3 specifically, it seems there are not many good bigger brand options for a case that offers both hinge protection AND a pen holder, so I don't have an issue with the hinge being exposed since my options are limited. I just wish they would release more colorful designs for the Fold models. ... show more

I have purchased better protectors for half the price. This does fit the phone really well. Package comes with 'extra' adhesive stickers that are nearly impossible to put into the little grooves. Edges are not smooth. Feels exactly its worth in plastic. Biggest issue is that the hinge is completely exposed and vulnerable when dropped in the closed position. FACT: Majority of drops occur while in the folded position. The hinge is fully protected in the full open position. No lens protection, no kickstand or..... anything that would make this special. ... show more

Fits perfectly, stays in place very good. Holds S Pen Fold (NOT Pro, shouldn't use the pro on this phone anyway, it can damage the screen) perfectly. Fingerprint & Volume buttons do take a short amount of time to get used to being able to access quickly but not long at all & once you figure it out, it's instantaneous. I have now also tested wireless charging, works just fine, no issues at all. When opened, it allows the Fold 3 to lay perfectly flat which all other cases I tried did NOT, there was ALWAYS a wobble at the very least. There is no "hinge" protection, but there shouldn't be, it needs to be able to be opened and lay fully flat, it is the way the phone is designed after all. All cutouts are exact & perfect, the charging port cutout is also. There is a bit of a "sharp" feel to the edges (but they are not really sharp just VERY defined) where the S Pen inserts and also above & below the volume & fingerprint sensor are, at first, but hardly noticeable after a few weeks now. I did have a Zagg on the front side until the old kickstand case I had on (that didn't fit good at all) started to lift it in multiple places and I just gave up and removed it before installing this case. This phone does come with the built-in front screen protector and think it's enough anyway. Overall, I would HIGHLY recommend this case as it's pretty darn near perfect in every way and I would definitely buy it again even at the $45 pricepoint I paid as I think the protection it offers this very expensive phone is worth it. ... show more
