This took 15 minutes to put together, not nearly as complicated as others seem to be complaining about! What to expect: - It came in a small box with 10 frames stacked together and two bags of hardware (screws and pegs). The frames were shrink wrapped to protect the wood and plastic during shipping, so it takes a few minutes to unwrap them all - The frames were numbered on the back and the illustrated instructions were super easy to follow - The pre-drilled holes all lined up how they were supposed to, no issues (small Phillips screwdriver needed) - Any of the reviews that complained about holes being drilled all the way through on some frames - they are like that on purpose and will make sense once you READ the directions - There are two hooks on the back, to hang either vertical or horizontal on your wall The outcome: It's a nice looking, sturdy frame. The variation in the wood grain colors makes it pretty versatile to match medium to dark wood furniture. If you don't mind a quick project, I say go for it! ... show more

The assembly instructions are basic photos and numbers, but they are clear. The holes all aligned well, and there were even extra pieces of hardware for each size. Maybe consider laying the whole thing out and putting the photos in before you assemble, because it is a little tricky to get at the ones buried deep in the collage once it is all together. I removed each piece of glass and cleaned them with windex before putting in the photos, and I could not get the glass out of the two center frames once it was assembled. I did have to return the first one because one of the frames had significant damage on a corner that would show, but the replacement came quickly and was in perfect condition. ... show more

    • Beautiful frame: Three dimensional structure

It is a beautiful frame that leaps out of the wall a bit (three layers together: 4 photos will stick to the wall, 4 willbe on second stack and the final 2 will be in the center and in the front. Looks very classy and is it easy to put together. The only tool you'll need is a Philip screwdriver. Just be cautious as you screw the frames in as they may look little out of shape if the screws aren't tight enough. I would recommend using 3M picture hanging strips to flush this to the wall. The only drawback is changing photos in any other layer except the base one (the one flushed to the wall) will be painful once the frame is fully assembled, so chose your photos wisely and make sure they fit perfectly! May not be your frame if you wish to change your photos periodically. ... show more

The frames look beautiful hung up! The screws and materials to put it together are pretty cheaply made and it can be a bit difficult, but not too bad.
