  • Great gazebo, very well built and looks great.
My Gazebo arrived late last week and I just installed it a few days ago. Today it rained and I am happy to say there are no leaks. The delivery consisted of 2 boxes, neither of which could be moved by just one person so make sure you get it dropped off where you want it. I found all the pieces to be there and they were in excellent shape. Perhaps one or two small scratches but you have to expect that for this many metal pieces. All the screws were neatly organized as where all of the other parts. The directions were pretty easy to follow. My father and I put it together in about 12 hours. The quality of this gazebo is excellent. It is sturdy, well balanced and looks great. I have mine installed over a hot tub and the 10 X12 dimension is perfect. It is large enough for the hot tub cover to be opened and closed easily. The installation definitely requires 2 people, you dont need 3 or 4 as some have suggested. Also, there is no issue I can see with the screws or nuts they are fine. One thing that is a must is that you do not want to even consider using the regular allan wrench they provide as there about 250-300 screws you need to install, so use a power screw-driver with an allan wrench bit for sure. The roof panels are the toughest part to install because you have to install them with one person below the roof panels and another above to screw them down into place. You will also need 2 extension ladders. There are spacers that you are supposed to use on the roof but I found about 4 of them absolutley impossible to get into position...you will know what I mean when you get there, I dont think they are essential though. The only other issue was that the screws used to install the diagonal cross beams that connect the main posts to the roof are too long and bottom out, so I had to add 3 washers to each screw to reduce the effective lenghth of them. One other nice aspect is that this gazebo has gutters so all the rain comes down at the 4 corners which is nice. The footings also have pre-drilled holes for stakes which is convenient. My only suggestion is that I wish they supplied a small bottle of touch-up paint just in case you get a scratch in the fure as this would help any rusting from developing. Also, it is not hot under the gazebo even though the roof is black metal. Nice cool shade thanks to the cupola. Overall I would definitely recommend this gazebo, but lets see how it does in the snow as I live in New England and although I plan to rake the snow off as much as possible I may miss a storm or two...... ... show more

  • Excellent Quality Shelter - Easy to Assemble (6+ Hours w/ 2 people).
Cudos to the manufacture. This is an excellent kit. All of the parts were easy to identify, all the parts were there, and they actually give you extra hardware. I was able to find a video on youtube for the assembly and would highly recommend watching the video, twice. It takes at least 2 people to assemble this structure, for you need one person to hold certain parts while the other screws things together. Definitely need a power drill with Allen key to screw in the screws. There are a lot of screws. Ideally use a drill that you can set the tension so you don't over tighten things. And you will need 2 ladders. Take your time, separate all of the parts and confirm you have everything before starting. Go step by step. Refer to the video on certain parts, for the included directions are very limited. It took us about 6 hours in total to assemble the entire structure with 3-4 people. It took another few hours to lag the structure into my deck, support under the deck, and install electricity. Structure is very sturdy, and the included screens are made of a nice quality material. They go on and come off easily. The structure is now 5 months in use at the bay and still looks brand new. No significant storms yet, for that will be the big test as to the value for us. Good luck ! ... show more

  • Awesome Gazebo
This thing arrived in 2 boxes, one very large and one that looked small but still weighed over 100 lbs. Unlike some of the other reviews I've read, this thing arrived in perfect condition. Not one piece was missing, dented, or scratched and I live in Western, NY and it was shipped from California. It took my son and I about 7 hours to set it up. I can't stress watching the installation video enough, it does not go in the exact order of the manual. Also, we found one small area where the manual was actually incorrect. You'll want to have a couple ladders and cordless drills on-hand set to a very low torque and you'll want to purchase the appropriate 4mm allen drivers. Other than the very top roof, we did not tighten any screws until we had the entire gazebo put together. I can also tell you that if you follow the video, and don't tighten things too early, that there will not be any need to redrill holes. Everything lined up perfectly for us. This thing appears to be very well made and structurally sound. We anchored it to my concrete patio with Tapcon screws and I'm pretty sure it's not going anywhere. So far, I absolutely love it! ... show more
