This one is of similar quality for a bit less $$ (though it's a different style). If you're looking for one of those ultra thick, super luxurious faux fur throws, you really have to spend a little more than this to get that. But this is excellent quality for the price, it's not too thin and not too thick. I bought and returned a different, cheaper black fur throw on Amazon that looked cheap, but I'm keeping this one. It's extremely soft and the fiber length is really good. It looks and feels like fur should. The glossy color is very eye catching (I received the black one) and compliments a white sofa very well. It's not as big as it looks in the picture so read the dimensions. Definitely worth getting as it's very soft albeit pretty plain as far as pattern or rouching go. ... show more

As soon as I got this in the mail I washed it and put it in the dryer which is exactly what I wanted, one that could go in the dryer. Very soft blanket. My husband and I have a full size bed and it fits the bed and both of us just fine. It also doesn't shed which is nice cause I didn't want one that shed, I got the black one to match our bedding and it is so cozy. The good thing about this blanket is it is cozy but it doesn't get so hot you can't stand it. It's warm but not a hot blanket. The top actually stays pretty cool. I was a little hesitant at first to buy it because of the price and I was afraid of it not being as soft or shedding but I am very happy I purchased it. It is a great buy!! UPDATE: so the first 2 washes were okay but the third one I just did, you could tell a difference in the softness BUT what I did was I took it out of the dryer and layed it across my bed and rubbed the static out of it and smoothed it out for a couple minutes and its back to the original softness. Just an idea for those who worry about it if this problem happens. Still love this blanket, it's my favorite! So just be careful about how much you wash and dry it. Hope this helps! ... show more

This throw is absolutely delightful. I find myself rubbing my hand against it (sort of like petting ) as I'm snuggled under it. It has a luxurious look and feel. I needed black to go with the chair I usually sit in when I read or watch tv. My pup comes up to nestle himself in it and promptly takes a nap.
