Best for travel and literally anywhere. Lightweight. Great light and magnification. I am 50 and NEED magnification for makeup, plucking, reviewing skin condition etc. I am lucky I have one but really want another and it's been out for months. If the manufacturer sees this, can you update us on whether it's ever coming back? If not, I'd like to properly mourn and move on. I buy this type mirror every few years, usually in the store. The 10x magnification is for close up only which is what it is intended for. If you hold it further away, of course it gets distorted. I find the hinges lossen over 2 or 3 years and it can't be tightened so the mirror , at that point is generally useless....or the stand (being plastic) has broken off. I don't mind replacing it as it is really used a lot daily and is still cheap enough. Folds up nicely and is good for travel...not too big or not too small. ... show more

This mirror is regular on one side, and magnified on the other. The magnification, at 10X, is good. The handle swings out or flat for storage, and has a hole in the end to hang it. It is slightly stiff to allow for using it on a table or countertop in an upright position. I wish this mirror was lighted. I tried to find one that was without success. I think it would make it easier to see. The mirror isn't as big as I imagined it would be. Double check the size you want. This is made in communist China. ... show more

I love the magnification on this mirror, as well as the original side. The flip handle is great for standing it on a surface. I also like the shape of the handle so I can hang it up out of the wat when not in use. Unfortunately, the handle cracked right at the top with just a slight bump.
