I got this to use on my Sony a6700 it dose fit when the screen is folded out and works very well and is built well to.

    • Does what is says, would be 5/5 if it was made out of thinner material.
Blocks the light as advertised really well, but the material is pretty thick. As a, result you can only use with the screen folded out.

I’ve had this on my wish list for a while, but just bought it to film the eclipse. I usually use a field monitor with a hood, so it hasn’t been too much of an issue, but having a hood for the flip out screen really helped in the bright sunlight any time I needed to adjust settings.     • Hard to store
I haven't used this yet but am assuming it will help as it is the same thing you see on any outdoor movie set. It is easy to configure, install on, and remove from the Sony ZV-1. The main reason I haven't used it yet is that it is a pain in the neck. I can't leave it installed on my ZV-1 and close the screen with the glass inside against the camera body. And when it is off the camera and folded up it is too cumbersome to get into a pants pocked from where it can be quickly deployed. I got the ZV-1 because it is pocketable and having this other thing that is not pocketable doesn't make sense for my use case. Maybe if I were a vlogger and needed to also carry a tripod, and a light panel, and a microphone, carrying this display Sun screen wouldn't be an issue.     • Use it for every wedding i shoot
I use mine on every single wedding i shoot. It works great at blocking the sun and also keeping guests from trying to hover over my shoulder to see what i'm shooting. It slips on and off in 1 second. Very convenient
