I tried the template on the product's website and it was a disaster. Was resigned to handwriting 100 labels. Thank goodness for B&K Lewis's instructions! I followed them to to the letter and got perfect labels. I'm honestly so grateful to him/her - it must have been tedious to type all of that out, but they did it. The product appears to be very nice. However they were placed in the shipping package incorrectly and ended up being bent. So they won’t go through a printer without pulling stickers up.

    • Template Label Settings!!!!

These do not fit any standard template. Like others, we did not have the templates. Other label companies' templates did not work. The other Amazon reviewer's settings did not work (we needed to use more of the label and alignment was more critical... also these have margins that vary.) Here is what you need for critical margins!!!! Everything is in inches. Top Margin: 0.35 Side Margin: 0.5 Vertical Pitch: 0.473 (Microsoft word will save this as 0.47 but actually print it as 0.473 so enter it all.) Horizontal Pitch: 1.101 (see above note on vertical pitch). Label Height: 0.38 Label Width: 1" Number Across: 7 Number Down: 22 Page Size: Letter Save this as a custom setting. When you go to print - change your page setup to print from your regular paper feed tray; ignore margin warning pop up. Load the labels so your printer will print on the label side and the wider side-margin is on the LEFT side and wide top-margin is on the TOP of the page after printed. (In our printer this is face down with top deep in the print tray and Left side to the left in the print tray). I hope that helps you. Worst case scenario, you will have to enter the specific settings whenever you print new labels. It all depends on how Microsoft Word saves this in the long run. Also, considering the manufacturing quality (these are not as consistent as something like Avery), you may have to adjust your margin settings a touch with the next batch you purchase. e.g. Side margin 0.501. ... show more

We tried every format of the template that these labels recommend but none of them were quite right. We have to create our own in photoshop. I would’ve just paid a little more for the other brands that had good usable templates.

I started with other users' WORD label template settings, but found my product is not centered on the page. I wanted to print a whole page of same label, so the "template" the seller sent me was not practical. MS Word - Labels - Other/Custom -Details Top margin 0.38 inch (check the top margin on your blank sheets) Side margin 0.5 (then make sure you load blank labels with the 0.5 side to the left, mine are not symmetric. Set the side margin to match your blank sheets) Vertical pitch 0.47 (it's not quite perfect, but WORD won't do thousandths) Horizontal pitch 1.1 Label height 0.38 Label Width 1.0 Number across 7, Number down 22 Page size 8.5x11 inch I used Times New 11 point, printed 2 rows, could have gotten 10 characters/line. Then full page of same label to new document, saved this document to print labels from. Then in Table properties - Options - set cell margins left 0.05 and top 0.01" to stay away from the cut edges. Printed first on plain paper, and held up to a light behind blank labels to verify clearance all the way down the page. You can adjust your left and top cell margins in Table Properties if needed for tiny corrections. Then printed on blank labels and this setup worked perfectly. ... show more

I needed one sheet of the same label and did not want the border (borders on stickers don't always print within the lines), so the template didn't work out for me, but there was another commenter that put the specs on so I could create my own template without having to figure it out. Thank you for that. I agree that they stick well and come off easily if you miss-position them. I used them on my jam jars to depict the seedless ones for the customers. I'd say make the template in a no-border version and easily adapted to making all the same info on each sticker quickly. Besides that, I like them. Do they come in waterproof? I see the glossy colorful ones were included for samples. If like white ones that are waterproof. Mayhaps you have them and I just didn't look far enough. I wish you were more descriptive in your posting. Size, number per page, pages in pack. I couldn't find that and bought anyway, hoping they would work. Happily, they did. ... show more
