  • Great system
We took quite a while to decide on purchasing the Skytrak. It wasn't the cheapest alternative out there but after reading all the reviews of the lower end simulators we opted for the Skytrak and we are so pleased we did. We have a garage setup so we can play a virtual round of golf anytime we like, rain or shine. Plus, with the driving range option we can get in some practice too. Shortly after we got it we had some problems with swinging clubs in the garage. Although we had virtually no chance of hitting anything it took a while for the brain to catch up. We had a lot of bad shots, hitting off the toe of the club and such. BTW, Skytrak worked perfectly, it was just getting used to indoor hitting. Glad we also bought the protective case because we hit a couple off the toe of the club and the ball bounced into the Sktrack metal protector case. If you are going to use it indoors I would highly recommend getting the case as well until you get used to the more confined surroundings. ... show more

  • Received an open box/used product.
Very disappointed with Skytrak. I opened my box tonight only to find the box that looks like it was packed by someone who clearly didn't care about protecting the product with the shrink wraps. The shrink wraps were stuffed on top with nothing protecting the bottom of the box. The Skytrak product box was already cut open and the charging cable was out of the plastic seal wrap. Basically looked like I received a used/refurbished product. Returned it right away. ... show more

  • Amazing!
The metal protective case is an absolute must, regardless of how great you are at never shanking the ball. You might think your floor is level, but I assure you it is not! The metal protective case comes with three leveling legs so you can line it up perfectly! So far I cannot find anything wrong with it. I'm going to be buying an enclosure and projector next week. One thing for people who have a completely unrealistic view of the price of golf. The software the skytraker uses costs 99.99 annually, not one time. If you cannot afford this then you should not be playing golf. This is as close to an "affordable coach" that you will ever get. Their time is 60 an HOUR. The software has to be updated and therefore it's never finished. This is the reason for the cost. I saw a few unrealistic people complaining that they didn't get a projector and impact screen with this, and I was laughing so hard . Just the enclosure costs around 2,000 dollars with just the impact screen. I'm not sure why those people are playing golf if they are that financially strapped. So no you don't get an impact screen, projector, and free software that lasts forever. You do get to do great practicing and even long drive competitions. Now where it gets a bit pricier is if you want to play actual courses. Then you have to buy 3rd party apps that cost around 300-600 dollars a year. You can apparently play any course in the world, so that's pretty freaking cool because that means they mapped out the entire course! Anyways if you thought you were getting 20k worth of stuff for 2k you will be upset. If you have any common sense and you are just looking for an amazing launch monitor then you will love it! ... show more

  • Skytrak
The media could not be loaded. Super high tech. Unreal shot tracker technology. It’s just the set up is super complicated. Plus I got the projector screen set up. So to get your sky track hooked up to your iPad is super hard. To get it hooked up to your projector near impossible. I got a tech support brother in law so he had to come work on it for an hour and now we can set it up to the projector after he runs us through the steps every time for another half an hour. But once system is going it’s unreal. Just the whole set up and linking it to all the devices is super complicated. They have to make this thing a whole lot more simple and user friendly. I was thinking of opening a shop with like eight bays of Skytraks and serve food and other items to customers as they rent times to play a round in our shop. But I just can’t get over the idea of needing my brother in law full time just to start the units up. Please sky tram team simplify this process and let my dream company become a reality. In fact I would love some help, ideas, feedback, and even maybe a sponsorship on a unit or two. #makingdreamsreality ... show more

  • So far, ok.
Unfortunately this simulator was more difficult to set up than I imagined, and I'm fairly techie. Also connecting between the simulator and software packages is spotty. Last, the laser dot for placing the ball is extremely picky, and often it does not pick up when the ball is struck. The price is great, but still deciding if that is worth the hassle. ... show more

  • Why don’t you have one of these yet???
Was very new to golf with little experience and short on expendable money so instead of spending $20-$30 every time I went to the driving range, I made an investment. And well worth every penny! I hit 50-100 balls every day into the net and the feedback has helped me tremendously! Would absolutely recommend this! ... show more

  • DO NOT BUY
Dont waste your money. I am now stuck with a defective device and out $2k. I received the item, all was well. Set it up, produced every shot at ~ 20 yds left of target, no matter how I set it up. Called SkyTrak to see what could be done. 4 lengthy phone calls later, and about 4 hrs. of my time trying to trouble shoot their device, they allowed me to send it back for warranty claim. They had it for a few weeks. In the time they had it, the Amazon last day to return came and went. Fast forward to a month later and again many calls, emails with both Amazon and SkyTrak, I am now stuck with the worthless item. Amazon wont get me a refund from their seller and the seller wont either. Guess this is the way to get be a billion dollar company, one transaction at time. What a joke!!!! ... show more
