  • Well-Built and Impressive PC - Good value for money
Style: 5600X | 3060 Ti
Warning: this will be a long review but very informative if you’re considering buying this PC. So I’ve had this PC for about 2 weeks. Granted, this isn’t a ton of time to know if parts will fail, but it’s been solid so far. PC was extremely well packaged with no damage on arrival. Upon opening up the case, everything was installed correctly and the cable management was immaculate. Very well organized in the front and back of the case with good use of zip ties and everything. Don’t think I could have done it better myself. I couldn’t find any reviews specifying the exact components of the PC, so I wanted to list what came with mine so others know what they’re buying and have something to compare to. -CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 5600x -GPU: EVGA 3060ti 8gb XC (this is the smaller 2 fan card compared to some other 3060ti’s with 3 fans, but its performance is about the same) -Motherboard: MSI 550M Pro-VDH Micro Atx AM4 -SSD: Western Digital Blue SN550 1TB NVME -RAM: Geil Evo Potenza 2x8gb 3200 16CL -PSU: Gamdias 600w Helios 80+ Gold -CASE: Metallic Gear Neo Air ATX white -CPU Cooler: AMD Wraith Prism RGB cooler -Accessories: comes with a PCie wifi adapter with 2 antenna, 3 rgb fans (2 intake, 1 exhaust), and windows 10 pre installed on the 1TB ssd. At the time of writing this review (June 17th, 2022), if you were to buy all these parts individually from Amazon it would cost around $1250 before tax. This is not counting windows 10, as some people may or may not include that in the price of a build. If you buy a legit Win 10 key then that’s an extra $110, bringing the total up to $1360 before tax. Considering the price of this PC is currently $1400, you’re basically getting everything very close to MSRP, with a $40-150 up-charge depending on how you look at it. That seems very reasonable to me, as Skytech has to be compensated for their time and effort to build the PC and package everything, and you have to consider the price of your time if you were to build a PC instead. Plus you get a 1 year warranty from Skytech if any parts break or you get technical difficulties. The only parts I was skeptical of were the PSU because Gamdias is not known for high quality parts, and the RAM because it looks kinda ugly. However, all RAM is basically the same because it’s made by 1-2 companies and then rebranded, so it doesn’t matter much. Also, the CPU cooler looks really nice and the RGB feature is awesome, but it’s not the best CPU cooler around. It’s good enough, but if you plan to have extended gaming sessions in high quality graphics (1440p) or want to keep your CPU temps down, then you’ll have to upgrade the CPU cooler to something of your choice. If you game in 1080p or don’t play very demanding AAA games, then the cooler it comes with is perfectly fine. So, I would recommend upgrading the PSU and the CPU cooler if you get what I have. As far as performance goes, I’ve been very satisfied. Everything I’ve played has been on a 1440p 165hz monitor. Battlefield 5 gets 140-150fps, Witcher 3 160fps, League of Legends 300fps, Heroes of the storm 300+ FPS. This has all been on high or max graphics settings. Obviously if you run a 1080p monitor or a lower refresh rate you’ll get even better FPS. I also do some video recording and editing, and have had no issues with that. Overall, I would definitely recommend this PC to people who are looking for a nice quality set up and don’t want to deal with the hassle of building one. You could plug this in and start gaming within 10-15 minutes with the peace of mind that it was built with care. Even if you’ve built a PC before, the value of this build and overall quality of parts is pretty good. Sure, you may have to upgrade a couple parts like the PSU and CPU cooler, but you could sell the ones that come stock with this build to get some cash back and end up paying not more than $50-100 to upgrade that stuff. Overall I would rate this pc at a 9 or 9.5 out of 10. ... show more

  • More than expected
Style: 5800X | 6900XT
[Skytech Prism II Gaming PC Desktop - AMD Ryzen 7 5800X 3.8GHz, AMD 6900XT 16GB] Package came well protected, including expandable foam inside case, the video card was still sagging a tiny bit so I removed to inspect only to realize that the card was Upgraded. Came with the (ASRock OC Formula Radeon RX 6950 XT) it weighs over 4 lbs. Inside the box was some extra parts including a metal arm that when installed helped hold up this card, not sure why it was not installed at the factory but easy to add. Over all everything works great (except for the RGB software, not updated yet but lots of color on everything inside the case, this was not important to me) and the build was pretty clean (nice case). It runs everything I have thrown at it, 4K 60fps is not a problem. So far the only minor complaint is fan noise but I knew it was not going to be whisper quite with 9 fans running. Wife says it sounds like a swarm of bees when it really spools up, it is however running cool despite the hard work. This is my first factory built PC in a long time and so far I am very happy with it. ... show more

  • Great Gaming PC! Can run anything!! Updated.
Style: 5600X | 3060 Ti
This one does come with a 3060 ti. This is my first pc and well I’m glad to say this is worth it. I can run about anything and I love the rgb colors and case that comes with it. All I had to do was remove foam packing and plug and play. I ran everything like fortnite, warzone, valorant, and other fps games and I hit well over 120+ fps on my 165hz 1080p monitor and since I have dual monitors I was also able to run canes smoothly on 1440p 144hz and it’s look damn amazing. Reach about 70*c and 80*c with that coolers that come with it with max settings and scaling. Just got it 1 week ago. I hope this lasts a long time! You could also get liquid cooling and a better processor to run your graphics card to the max. Want to get an i9 or AMD ryzen 9 but for now you’re chilling with this!! I also run PS3 on emulator RPcs3 and it’s also really amazing . : the cpu fam was glued stuck to the motherboard. I suggest getting liquid cooling as I got up to 77* Celsius at one point. I replaced my cooling but in the process saw that they glued the fan connector and was tough getting it out and I got worried I would damage the motherboard. Everything is all good though I just took away a star for the hassle. ... show more
