My initial plan was to get a budget gaming PC. While I was looking, I came across this gaming PC from Skytech. It was more expensive than I planned on paying for, but it was at an amazing price for what this computer has in it. I did a lot of research on the computer as well as this company since I've never really heard of them. After reading a lot of positive things about them, I decided to get it. Skytech claims that they use high quality brand name components. That is true as every part in this computer is from a well-known manufacturer. One thing you want to keep in mind is that they don't use a specific brand for every computer they build. For example, while some will have an ASUS graphics card, another one will have a Zotac brand graphics card. There is no difference to how this card performs since they are both Nvidia RTX 4070 Ti. So even though the brands may be different, the specs and performance should be the same. If you happen to be loyal to a brand and only want parts from them, this might not be what you are looking for. When it arrived, I was very impressed with the packaging. Not only it was well protected outside, but they used special protection for the internals that kept them all well in place for shipping. There isn't much as far as instructions go. It did include a keyboard and mouse, which wasn't expected. They perform decent and there are better keyboards out there, but I still appreciate the fact that they did include them with the desktop. Setup was easy and quick. When everything was updated, it was ready to go! It runs quiet and does a great job of keeping cool! So here is the hard part. Who would I recommend this PC to? I honestly feel that this is perfect for someone looking for a mid-range PC that wants good productivity but great at gaming. Sadly, I did need assistance when I got it out of the box. Everything seemed to work fine but after a day, I noticed in the lower right hand corner - it was displaying that my version of Windows was not registered. This does not ship with the code, it's supposed to ship already registered and the Windows key is supposed to be coded (somehow) onto the motherboard. So when I go through the steps to register, the registration key is pulled (I assume from the bios or cmos or something) and it goes smoothly. In the end, I had to be given a code. I was sad that after formatting and reinstalling windows, I lost the very awesome background and pre-loaded support applications that they include. However, I was able to go to the website (on the business card included with the computer) and resume the chat. I went with Chat since I work from home and I wasn't sure if I would get a call while I was in the middle of something. I've been in tech support from 1995 to 2017. I've supported people that wandered into a Wal-Mart and bought a pc to corporations to military contracts - this tech support was very good in my opinion. As fort he computer - it's NICE. Playing Elden Ring and Fallout 76 and I've installed the Amazon Prime video viewing app. The movies and shows are very crisp and thus far - no crashes, no timing out, no CPU lag. I gave the keyboard to a friend that wanted a backlit keyboard and I'm using an old Dell Alienware TactX Gaming Keyboard which requires 2 USB ports. This is a good buy. ... show more

If you’re one of those “1337” guys that has to build his own PC so you have Ferrari specs; This review isn’t for you. I’ve built many PC’s over the years but I when I see good value, I take a shot in the dark. Picked this up when it was 15% off ($1699.99) Yes, you’ll be getting any available brand parts they give you. Mine came with a ZOTAC 4070 Ti and a MSI 1 TB SSD. The motherboard is a GIGABYTE B660 DS3H. When it arrived, it was packaged very well inside and out. Cable management looks great. This rig comes with PLENTY of cooling (360mm AIO / 3 fans) for the CPU, alone. Checked all the hardware connections and nothing was loose or half-arsed. Computer booted right up with zero issues and all of the firmware was up-to-date straight out of the box. Runs quiet and very cool for a 12th generation intel, even under heavy load. Overall I’m very impressed. I know other prebuilt companies have been riddled with issues in the past but these guys have excellent Quality Control. Couldn’t be happier and would definitely recommend this company as a safe bet if you want a fast, quality PC for a very reasonable price. ... show more
