  • Good PC, no complaints.
After some research and determining that at the moment pre-built isn’t a bad way to go I decided to buy this computer. There were some spotty reviews and some that really made me want it. I bought the pc on Amazon as I figured the shipping would just be quicker. I chose the fastest method and got it within a week I believe. The pc came well packaged, had no physical damage at all and had a quick start up guide that was easy to follow. I plugged in the pc and turned it on and had zero issues at all. Everything worked as advertised. The inside cable management was good and no connection issues anywhere. Since then I’ve put it through different games such as Control, horizon zero dawn, forza horizons four, call of duty warzone, knockout arena, Microsoft flight simulator, and a few others. All the games look and play great. For example, warzone hit the FPS mark that was displayed on skytechs site, and forza has never dropped below 144fps on high and ultra settings on some as well. When playing in 4K on warzone I was still hitting 4K 60hz as that’s all my 4K monitor will display. I am definitely happy with my purchase and haven’t had any issues with temps running hot or excessive crashing etc. ... show more

  • Solid build, some case screws overtightened though
Bought this PC a month ago more or less, ended up installing another 2 tb of ssd memory. (A feat that will require you to remove the graphics card temporarily unless you have spider like fingers. Overall I am pleased with its performance, the thing runs fairly cool and the cable management is solid. Perhaps the only thing I dislike here is the case has this a push to tap release system on the front mesh, which, easier to clean, makes me nervous when moving as pressure will trigger its release sometimes. Additionally, the top and bottom meshes are thin magnetic affairs that can slide off while being handled. None of these are deal breakers, just stuff to be aware of when getting this model. I'd give it a 4.7/5 score, It was a good value buy at the time of purchase, GPU prices are insane thanks to crypto mining. I do recommend picking up another 16 gigs of DDR4 ram though just to help future proof yourself. ... show more

  • Avoid this company
I had originally bought the RTX3070 model on an original purchase price of $2,431.17. Long story short; They had sent me 5 in total and non of them worked out, and now I'm going through the refund process with them. -Computer 1 was built beautifully and had no complaints. It lasted a month before losing sound. Tech support did their best to try and help me over email, but had to send it back. They reported to me it had a faulty motherboard due to a manufactures defect. Oh well, no worries because it happens, right? -Computer 2 arrived destroyed, and had to be sent back basically the same day it arrived. From the kind of damage i saw, it would appear some of it happened during assembly, and not only in shipping. -Computer 3 arrived with a bent graphics card that looked like it was bent during assembly, missing screws, and stripped out screws, as well there was no way i can see the graphics card getting bent the way it did during shipping. Tech support told me to give it a try anyways but sadly it did not work. They mistakenly sent out 2 computers to replace this one. -Computer 4 had several missing and stripped screws as well, and would only go to the boot menu. After removing and reinstalling the M.2 SSD hard drive, it would still only go to the boot menu and had to get sent back. I told them to allow the 5th to finish shipping instead of getting recalled. -Computer 5 also had stripped out screws to where parts on the case would just flop around. It worked for a week before no longer putting out video. At this point, i was 3 months into not having a working computer, and am now writing this review on a ThinkCentre that went out of production in 2002. ... show more

  • After 3 years of continuous use, here is my review
The weak point(bottleneck) to this pc build is the cpu & it's stock cpu cooler. The pc does it's job playing most of the latest games, but for content creation like upscaling SD videos to HD using a program like topaz is utilizing between 93%-99% of the cpu leaving very few options to the pc user while upscaling video files. I noticed when I use heavy resource program's like topaz or running certain games the cpu would overheat at over 100 Celsius & then the pc would shut down when the overclocked cpu overheated. I noticed that the cpu had a higher voltage level than necessary. So I downloaded a pc tuning utility called: ASRock tuning utility. You can do various things with this motherboard pc tuning utility app, including(among other options) regulating the speed(GHz) & voltage of the cpu on your pc motherboard. I fine tuned the cpu voltage & speed to be a little lower than the overclocked options that were originally set in place when I bought the pc in 2021 and it operated at a stable 30 Celsius cooler at that point. I also bought a premium cpu cooler tower that had a radiator and 2 fans in which after successful installation it operated 20 Celsius cooler. Before I made the changes the cpu would operate at over 90C-over 100C under light to medium-light load in I could not operate certain programs due to the cpu over-heating problem. Now that I made the aforementioned changes the cpu runs at no higher than 51C under heavy load which is a vast impovement. Next, I am going to upgrade my ryzen 7 3700x cpu to a ryzen 9 5950x cpu(with a water cooling system) which has much faster clock speed & has double the amount of cpu's/threads than the aforementioned ryzen 7 3700x cpu. If you just want to game, surf the net, watch hd movies etc... then this pc(with some tweaking) might be for you. Although I recommend eventually upgrading the cpu with a water cooling system if you want to put it under heavy load like upscaling videos etc. ... show more
