I currently work in one of those big box home improvement warehouse stores and, while wearing Red Wing boots with toe protection makes sense, standing and walking 10+ miles a day on bare concrete really did a number on my feet and body (even with fancy insoles). I caved and bought these after reading some orthopedic webpages (I also needed to replace some warm-weather light grey loafers anyway) and after a couple of shifts the improvement was night and day. These are now my daily drivers at work and when walking on pavement. I'm not sure how well they work "off-road" when hiking and working in the dirt, but for anything involving indoor/outdoor pavement, they are perfect. The easy slip-on is neat too and, while I haven't tried it yet, the machine washable feature looks promising. I've only had them for a month (walking 10+ miles a day) and they're holding up perfectly. It is true that they're thin and probably won't hold up if you frequently scratch/scuff/snag them on stuff, but you really shouldn't be doing that often anyways if you're a careful worker/walker IMO. In any case, these are great shoes and will buy them again once they begin to wear out (possibly going for some other colors too). ... show more

These are the most comfortable, best fitting shoes I have ever owned. I love 'em. But they are noticeably delicate. They feel like they won't last a year, and wouldn't survive mowing the lawn. The shoe is very confortable and that was my major decision point. It is a little bigger compared to the standard size. I usually wear a size 11 and that size feels more like an 11.5. Other than that good shoes.

Rare to find shoes in narrow sizes. These fit my 12 Narrow feet perfectly. Not a ton of arch support, but light as a feather and super comfortable.

I bought them "Used" so they were Brand New but without a box. I paid roughly 50% off. I bought them as a yard/mowing shoe to spare life of my premium shoes. I'm 260lbs and have already warn them down enough I'm ready to buy an insoles. It has only been 8 weeks of 1-3 times per week at average of 4hrs per day. I also have narrow feet so if Skechers offers a Narrow option in a Slip-On, get those cause these can easily be slipped out of if I do much more than a lazy walk. ... show more
