These water shoes are comfortable in the sea and on land. I recently went to Hawaii and my hotel was about a 10 minute walk to Waikiki beach. I wore these water shoes on the walk to and from the beach and in the water in between. They were still comfortable after getting seawater and sand in them. They were tough enough to protect my feet from sharp rocks in the ocean but not super rigid and hard to take off like other water shoes I’ve tried. The bottom sole is the tough part while to top is a soft breathable fabric. The many color options are also great, setting them apart from other water shoes that you can get at ABC stores in Waikiki. We would have died a million times over without these shoes in Kuaui. They're super versatile from hiking mountains to snorkeling, I'm typically a 6.5/7 but I ended up needing to size down for both myself (6) and my husband. They aren't the most supportive shoe but the traction was great and they dried super fast, they were great to have because alot of our hikes went through rivers and such then back to steep muddy trails. Plus they look like normal shoes! I was surprised by the splotches of green, orange, and blue on the tread (I just didnt notice it in the picture) but honestly if I lost my husband amongst a crowd snorkeling those shoes were how I found him every time lol. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. My boyfriend and I each bought a pair for our trip to Puerto Rico. We wore them for our hike in El Yunque rainforest. Let me tell you that this hike was no normal, following the path hike. We were trekking through slippery mud, climbing up rocks, walking through streams, jumping off cliffs, the whole deal. These shoes held up so perfectly. We were skeptical to get them because of the reviews of the toes ripping, but they were amazing. We didn’t even feel pain or discomfort in our feet. I would say get a half size bigger. My boyfriend ordered his exact size and he had to scrunch his toes ever so slightly but enough for him to feel tight. ... show more

I ordered this particular brand because they came in size 11.5 rather than skipping from 11 to 12. The Chinese size is 34 which I suppose is metric. Anyway I'm pleased. I wanted something to wear when power washing my roof here in Hawaii that is coated with a white elastomeric coating. Obviously a shoe with good grip is important when working on a wet roof covered with mold and mildew. These soles do have a lot of flexible ribs that should provide good grip. Believe it or not shoes like this are not so easy to find even in Hawaii, so Amazon was a great place to shop. THere are lots of brands and styles to choose from with a large selection of colors. I don't think I could have done better anywhere else. I did try at a well known fishing supply store down at the commercial fishing boat harbor but they had nothing comparable to this in style, price, value, and utility. We bought a few pair of these in different designs for a family trip. We knew we would be going tubing and needed something for foot protection on the river. These were perfect and were way better quality than the ones for sale at the outpost. We were glad to have brought our own along with us. Bottoms are sturdy but flexible and fabric gives protection but stretches for comfort. The drawstring laces make it quick and easy to adjust the fit and get these on & off. Just bought the shoe and the quality is beyond my expectation. It looks stylish and very very comforatble on. Please to make sure to order a size down from your regular size. I'm in a normal shoe size 8 and I did order size 7 which is perfectly fit great.

I’m a wade fisherman in the St Pete area and I wanted to get a cheap pair of water shoes to fish in. I figured for under 30 bucks if I get 3 or 4 trips out of them, then it would be worth it. I am so surprised, after two years they are still going, nothing is ripping or breaking on them. For “cheap” water shoes they are totally worth it. Very comfortable and light weight. These seem like perfect water shoes for when you need something more than the cheap ones from a discount store. They have a decent sole on them and although they are super snug, they are easy to get on and stay on. They don't take all that extra effort to stuff your foot into like the cheaper ones, yet they are comfortably snug. To hold even better, they have a rip-tie type of lace for fast closure. Should be good for wading in a stream; wearing while kayaking, or just wearing on a hot sandy beach so the sand doesn't get too hot on your foot.
