We would have died a million times over without these shoes in Kuaui. They're super versatile from hiking mountains to snorkeling, I'm typically a 6.5/7 but I ended up needing to size down for both myself (6) and my husband. They aren't the most supportive shoe but the traction was great and they dried super fast, they were great to have because alot of our hikes went through rivers and such then back to steep muddy trails. Plus they look like normal shoes! These water shoes are comfortable in the sea and on land. I recently went to Hawaii and my hotel was about a 10 minute walk to Waikiki beach. I wore these water shoes on the walk to and from the beach and in the water in between. They were still comfortable after getting seawater and sand in them. They were tough enough to protect my feet from sharp rocks in the ocean but not super rigid and hard to take off like other water shoes I’ve tried. The bottom sole is the tough part while to top is a soft breathable fabric. The many color options are also great, setting them apart from other water shoes that you can get at ABC stores in Waikiki. I ordered this particular brand because they came in size 11.5 rather than skipping from 11 to 12. The Chinese size is 34 which I suppose is metric. Anyway I'm pleased. I wanted something to wear when power washing my roof here in Hawaii that is coated with a white elastomeric coating. Obviously a shoe with good grip is important when working on a wet roof covered with mold and mildew. These soles do have a lot of flexible ribs that should provide good grip. Believe it or not shoes like this are not so easy to find even in Hawaii, so Amazon was a great place to shop. THere are lots of brands and styles to choose from with a large selection of colors. I don't think I could have done better anywhere else. I did try at a well known fishing supply store down at the commercial fishing boat harbor but they had nothing comparable to this in style, price, value, and utility. We bought a few pair of these in different designs for a family trip. We knew we would be going tubing and needed something for foot protection on the river. These were perfect and were way better quality than the ones for sale at the outpost. We were glad to have brought our own along with us. Bottoms are sturdy but flexible and fabric gives protection but stretches for comfort. The drawstring laces make it quick and easy to adjust the fit and get these on & off. Just bought the shoe and the quality is beyond my expectation. It looks stylish and very very comforatble on. Please to make sure to order a size down from your regular size. I'm in a normal shoe size 8 and I did order size 7 which is perfectly fit great.

Looks great; sizing is atrocious. I read dozens upon dozens of reviews to ascertain the most appropriate size to order. Some reviews said to order up, some downward, some in one's usual size. I ordered what was listed as 10.5W/9.5M, as I'm usually a 9.5 or 10, varying by the shoe. They are listed as a "41" on the packaging. An Euro size 4 = 8 in the U.S; In China a 41 = a 7. The shoes are much too small for me. While there are much bigger problems in the world, this is frustrating. I've no good clue what actual size to order even if I wanted to send these back to replace them. Please work to get the sizing information correct/clearer. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. My boyfriend and I each bought a pair for our trip to Puerto Rico. We wore them for our hike in El Yunque rainforest. Let me tell you that this hike was no normal, following the path hike. We were trekking through slippery mud, climbing up rocks, walking through streams, jumping off cliffs, the whole deal. These shoes held up so perfectly. We were skeptical to get them because of the reviews of the toes ripping, but they were amazing. We didn’t even feel pain or discomfort in our feet. I would say get a half size bigger. My boyfriend ordered his exact size and he had to scrunch his toes ever so slightly but enough for him to feel tight. ... show more

Got these for a trip to Cancun. They fit well and the sole is thick enough that walking around in them was pretty comfortable. They were great for the parks since they dry pretty quick, but also have good traction. The insoles came off after the second day and they kept bunching up, so I took them out. Way less comfortable without them, despite them being pretty thin, which is why I took a star off. All water shoes I’ve had the insoles come off, and at least these lasted 2 full days of heavy walking and swimming, and are still wearable. ... show more
