I bought and installed these cameras over the summer so I am finally reviewing them after some usage. I think these are great indoor and outdoor cameras. They were a 2-pack so 2 cameras are in one order. They were very easy to install, it took me about 10 minutes per camera. These operate on wifi and will need a power outlet for power. These are labeled as SHO cameras, but they are really Zmodo cameras. It uses a SHO App, but the app is identical to Zmodo App and the login is the same. So if you have Zmodo App already, the install is even faster. Since it uses the Zmodo App, any cameras you have already installed will show up as well in this App. Like other Zmodo cameras, they will provide free clips of activity on the camera (motion sensor triggered) for about 24 hours or you can subscribe to cloud storage ($50 or $100 per year) for continuous recording. You can set up to get alerts whenever the camera is triggered. I have these cameras facing the outdoor front door and the camera quality is great. So far the cameras have held up to being outside but I note that my cameras are somewhat protected by the house eaves. The build quality looks good so they should last a while. I bought 4 of the SHO outdoor cameras to replace my aging Zmodo cameras. (For some reason Zmodo didn’t have black cameras) These use the same app, so set up was easy. Transferred my cloud service from the Zmodo cameras to the SHO cameras. I had an issue with one of the cameras. Contacted SHO. They recommended I switch 2 cameras out to see if it still had the same issue. It did. They quickly replaced the camera with a new one. ... show more

These are durable little cameras, a nice size, and well constructed. I like them better than the "wireless" cameras, but I don't have the other parts needed to make the whole system work yet. Product description says these cameras are weatherproof. Not true. I have both cameras outside in covered areas. They were both working perfectly fine during the summer. Fall has arrived along with scattered showers. (Live in a drought state with rare rain chances). One camera is working ok in the light showers, still not getting wet at all. The other one suddenly stopped working once the light rain started, not getting wet at all. Now again, since they are both under covered areas outside, that do not get wet, it baffles me how one stopped working after a day of light showers. I completely understand the difference between weatherproof and waterproof. These have NOT gotten wet at all. There is no way to contact anyone for support. Everything is done online, no humans to talk to. On a side note, the sharing info doesn't work either. App has option to share but it won't work. Tried too many times to count to share the account with my spouse but unsuccessful. Bottom line, I would save your money and not buy these if you plan on using them outside. There are better ones on the market that actually have customer support and live people to talk too. ... show more

I've been using these types of cameras for years and this SHO is of good quality and performs as expected. The night vision is nice and clear as well as the daytime viewing. Definitely a keeper and will buy some more to replace some older cameras i have.
