Bigger than I thought, 3 fan system for for a Evo 13.5, so a little overkill. We don't notice when it kicks on though it's basically in our bedroom by way of master bath, so pretty quiet but definitely not a whisper quiet. I have it hooked to a temp controller, and I live where it being106° degrees for weeks, my tank stays ~78° (+/-) 1°. Pushes good. Would buy another. ... show more

Which was unsettling since I really did like the product but didn't expect an electronic of this nature to only last a month However the seller reached out to me with nothing but kindness and offered to send a new one. This is the second set of these fans I have bought. The first one stopped working after 4 months. I thought it was a fluke so I got another set which stopped working after 5 months. Big waste of money. The motor burns out too quickly. Better off spending your money on an actual aquarium chiller.

The media could not be loaded. We bought this for our axolotl tank in the basement. It was hovering around 70-71 in the heat of summer so we wanted to bring it down a little bit. This did the trick. On hot days it goes down to 68 and cooler days it’s 66 just on the low setting. On the low setting it doesn’t make much more noise than a filter but the high setting isis noticeably louder. You do have to watch though if you have a rim on your tank you’ll need an adapter. Luckily I had someone 3d print one for me. i have two of these, they do work, however i have had them for a few months and they are to the point where they are so loud and rattling that i had to throw them out, they also would vibrate all over the top of my tank lid all around the place.
