I received my order and was excited to try it out. The lid fit great and I love the color, but the straws are about 1/2 inch too short. I reached out to the company because they said they guaranteed their product. The response I got back from the company was instructions on HOW to insert the straw and telling me the straw should fit. And.....the email was written in poor English. I responded to let them know, they used poor English in their writing skills and that I indeed KNEW how to insert a damn straw.     • The lid won’t twist FLUSH, so even with the straw closed, it leaks.

The media could not be loaded. Positives: arrived exactly as described, and as always, quickly. Came in sanitary packaging, with two straws and a cleaning brush. No visible damage, looks great. Negatives: No matter what I do, this lid leaks. I need something sturdy because I am constantly on the move, and if my Hydroflask (40oz, wide mouth) ends up upside down for some reason I can’t have it leaking. I clean this thing and my Hydroflask thoroughly before trying to use it, I tried twisting it both directions, i tried leaving it twisted loosely and tightly. I REALLY wanted this to work. I’m going to keep it and use it until I can get a different one because I don’t really have a choice, but I’m bummed. I’m thinking I just got a defective one? Because all the other reviews seem so positive. ... show more

The top is as pink as the picture shows, came with two straws and a cleaner. The reason I was looking for a new straw lid was because the actual Hydro Flask straw lid on my HydroFlask leaked, a lot. I was skeptical about buying a cheaper, non-hydro flask top, nervous it would also leak, or wouldn’t fit my 32oz bottle. I am pleasantly surprised at how perfectly this top fits, and even happier about the non leakage, no matter how I tip it. I’ll definitely be buying another, and I’m excited I can finally not worry about my bottle tipping over in my bag and pouring onto my iPad. ... show more

I am so excited that this FITS my RTIC bottle! I was almost going to have to buy new bottles in a different brand because I wanted a straw lid so badly and then I found this product. Fits great. It rode around in my backpack all day in an airport, dropped a few times, and there was no leaking. Straw does need to be cut to fit for a 32oz RTIC, it is otherwise a little long but I presume this is because this lid also fits other sizes and brands. Great value since it includes two straws AND a cleaning brush. I love the rotating handle (instead of a fixed handle like some brands). SO HAPPY with this purchase! ... show more

What they don't mention is that it's extremely hard to clean. Sure you get a brush, but if you're like me and put electrolyte mixes in your bottle you'll quickly find no matter how thorough you clean it something tastes/smells...off. It's because buildup forms around the o-ring under the rotating nozzle itself. Also cleaning under the cap thoroughly requires meticulous work with a toothpick or other implement due to the various angles. It's good that it's cheap, because if you consider it basically disposable after a couple months, you're good. ... show more

I got the mint sendestar straw lid and it fits my wide mouth hydro perfectly! Just as the images show, I did not have to cut the straw at all for it to fit my 40 oz bottle. I was afraid the mint color would be too bright / vibrant on my alpine colored bottle but it is a beautiful, soft turquoise color in person– perfection. It is intelligently designed with a soft flex handle versus the small loop in the official brand’s version of their straw lid. A note, they have a subtle glossy print of their name Sendestar on the flex handle in the same location that the official brand puts their name on their popular flex handle- photo included. I am so happy my best friend recommended this lid to me (she uses it for her 32 oz hydro bottle). ... show more

Awful! I am reviewing the "soft" spout and it's bad. The photo is after a month's use and its discolored, cracked and starting to fall apart. I also bought the hard spout at the same time and that one is holding up. So to summarize, opt for the hard spout and pass in the rubber version.

    • Not The Lid I Was Looking For

This lid DOES NOT fit the bottle I wanted for. I have a HydrAflow bottle NOT a Hydroflow bottle. The bottle was purchased at Beall’s in FL. I am thinking the HydrAflow bottles & supplies have been discontinued & the reason Beall’s have the bottles at a reasonable price. It came with a silicone pop up straw which I do not like & I was wanting to get a regular pop up straw which is what this lid has but the lid doesn’t screw on the bottle correctly. On the HydrAflow website everything is out of stock leading me to believe the site is no longer operationable. Be careful when ordering - this lid Does Not Fit my bottle nor di I believe it would fit the HydrOflow bottle as says in the description. ... show more
