My biggest insecurity for maybe the last 12 years has been my thin hair. I used to have super thick hair, and somewhere around 15 years old it started thinning and I ended up with my dads fine, thin hair. When I put my hair in a pony tail, I have to use those tiny black rubber hair elastics because the thickness of my pony is like the size of a DIME. So sad. I have never worn extensions because the clips hurt my head, and because my hair is so thin you could always see the band and clips through my hair. I ordered these because they’re cheap for human hair, and because I read halo extensions were super comfy and the most perfect choice for thin hair. BOY IS THAT AN UNDERSTATEMENT. When the extensions came in the mail they were a few shades too blonde, and blended ok, but not well enough to feel confident wearing them in public…though I was so happy with them. So I picked up a box of L’Oréal light ash brown hair dye from dollar general and did the thing. They came out SO PERFECT. Not only is the color so spot on, but since washing and blow drying them, they blend so perfectly with my hair it’s unbelievable. Obviously in the photos I didn’t style my hair, and it’s just the frizzy washed and blow dried version. But I feel like a totally new person. I didn’t order the extensions for length; I ordered them for thickness. I ordered them maybe just a half inch longer than my hair. It did the job for me. I didn’t want over the top Barbie hair; I just wanted to have a normal beautiful full head of hair. I actually cried a little after I dyed the extensions and put them on because I feel so so so good about myself right now. If you’re in my boat, order these! I am so over the moon happy, and should have made this purchase years ago. ***edit a few weeks later: still love them. From coworkers I see every day, to people I see once a month, since I started wearing my new hair everyone has been telling me I look amazing and they can’t put their finger on what it is about me. I wear hand-tied hair extensions (and have for a while now), but recently, I'd been wanting a little more volume and dimension to my color. So I decided to give these a try and was NOT disappointed! I selected the shade #P6-12 to add even more caramel highlights to my chocolate brown to caramel balayage, and I am so thrilled with the results! The texture of the hair is SO soft but still strong enough to stand up to the heat of styling irons. The weft is very sturdy and wide but also very comfortable as it sits on your head. Most days, I forget that it's even there! The halo wire comes with a TON of slack and is easily adjustable for any head shape. If you've never worn halo extensions before, there are tons of videos on the internet that show you how to put them in. It is super easy! And lastly, the packaging it comes in is so cute and fun and comes with a complimentary teasing comb, alligator clip, and clips (should you decide to sew the clips onto the weft to turn your halo into clip-ins!). I really cannot say enough good things about these extensions! I highly recommend them for anyone who wants that extra big of thickness or length to their hair. I purchased this item in early June... I have had many very expensive hair extensions and there is just no comparison... These are AMAZING! I have dyed them several times, purple shampoo, curling with heat and these are still beautiful and soft as when I first got them. If you have ever worn extensions you know how they hurt your head... By the time I would get home I couldn't wait to take them out... These are so lightweight and there is zero tug or pull on your hair... They are so comfortable that I could fall asleep with it in. 20” Blonde Halo Hair Extensions. When I first received these extensions I was quite confused on how to fit them to my head, but with YouTube’s help I was successful. I am familiar with clip-in extensions, I’ve been wearing them for years, this is my first time using a halo extensions and it’s AMAZING! The quality of this hair is better than Sally’s beauty supply clip-in extensions. The color didn’t match my hair so I just washed them in some blonde shampoo and let them sit to give it more of a silver appearance. Even after one wash and putting heat on the extensions, the hair is so silky and the string on the extensions itself is quite strong.
