  • Love this anchor!
Color: Anchor + Line + Chain
I read the reviews and was worried it would be too sharp but it seems they have fixed that issue, mine was very smooth to the touch. I love this anchor! Its so lightweight, easy to settle in and very strong hold. I use it as my back anchor just because its so easy to carry it from the front to the back, so the light weight makes it ideal for that purpose as my other anchor is much heavier, but it can easily be used as the front anchor as well - its strong enough for my 24' hurricane. only thing to note, if you drop it in water, is to give it a few extra seconds to reach the bottom. It just just a few more seconds due to its light weight. ... show more

  • Lightweight and works great

Bought this for my buddy's 17 foot boat to replace super heavy anchor that dragged in mud. This works like a dream and you don't kill your back hauling it in.

So far so good.

  • Lightweight, but really does work well.
Color: Anchor
I’ve got a boat, big enough that it requires several anchors to hold it in place when I go to a cove. I’ve used really heavy anchors in the past, which are hard to take in and out of the boat. This anchor is very lightweight, and really grabs the bottom of the lake bed.

  • Looks good, lightweight, but one problem
Color: Anchor
I haven't even tried the anchor yet. Went fishing yesterday and threw it in the back of the boat, planning to figure out where to keep it (second anchor) while I was out. We didn't even have a line in the water when my son stepped on it. It cut the side of his foot very deep. Needed 5 stitches. It ended our day before it even started...so I didnt get to try the anchor and see how well it actually works. The silver metal part cut at an angle is very sharp. I filed it down after this happened, but it should not be delivered like that. It needs to be dulled by the manufacturer. ... show more

  • Boss Anchor for 18’ boat
Color: Anchor
We absolutely love our Sandshark anchor. We’re on the Gulf Coast w/ sandy bottoms. It has never let us down and leaves us more time to enjoy the sandbar and not worrying about our boat.

  • Really Grabs
Color: Anchor
Besides the directions being terrible (best to just study the picture on the box) and having to use a round file to open up the hole the cross bar goes through, I love this anchor. So light and easy to handle. When I dropped it in at the beach, it grabbed instantly and held firm. Then i swam out to it to take a look. it was buried. Completely dug in. When we moved, I pulled the boat on top of it and it popped right up with a little pull. Worked great! ... show more
