I returned it because it didn’t work properly. Overall, many features were genuinely good, such as the cameras, screen, and performance. However, there were some things that, as a buyer, I did not expect. The loudspeakers worked but were not as loud as they should be. The device was heavily beat up, but the back glass and screen seemed brand new. I constantly lost data and signal. The reason I still give it 5 stars is due to the customer service, which was awesome, helpful, and efficient. Unfortunately, the device arrived damaged. I loved everything about it until I stepped out of Wi-Fi range. It's always a gamble buying a phone that's renewed/refurbished, because you hope you're going to get what the seller actually promises (as opposed to a disappointing/broken/non-working product). This isn't my first refurbished phone, but I'm always a little anxious spending the money on something I HOPE is going to be good (as opposed to brand-new/unused). I bought this phone in refurbished/excellent condition. After reading multiple reviews on multiple refurbished phone listings on Amazon, my biggest concern was (always is) getting one with a damaged screen, cameras, or having it not truly be unlocked. I've had this phone less than 24 hours, but here's my take SO far (I can't speak for other people, these are just my experiences): 1) Yes, it was (for me) truly, 100% unlocked. Not even an ex-carrier logo when I first turned it on! (My previous 'unlocked' refurbished phone has a T-Mobile logo when turned on) I was quite happy/impressed about this. 2) No scratches (that I could see) on the front/touchscreen. There are multiple, TINY scuffs on the sides (not part of the touchscreen)/top edge/bottom edge of the phone - which I fully expected w/ a refurbished phone, and I'm totally fine with it (and this is if I'm REALLY nitpicking - they're really not that bad, though. It's just not FLAWLESS, which - again - I'm fine with). 3) 99% flawless on the backside - the ONLY thing I can see is a TINY scuff on the edge of one of the cameras (not the actual camera/glass screen itself), and this is cosmetic - it doesn't affect the quality of the camera (that I've noticed). 4) S-Pen pops out like it should, seems to be fine. 5) Charges just fine so far - both wireless and wired. 6) Popped in my SIM card (US Mobile, uses T-Mobile network), and it worked instantly. No phone/SIM-related problems so far. Everything - and I mean everything (data, wallpapers, photos, Samsung Notes from my previous phone, sounds/ringtones, apps, folders, etc) - transferred from my old phone perfectly (Samsung Smart Switch app). 7) Fingerprint reader works fine for me so far - and that's with a plastic-y (TPU?) screen protector that I put on it. I haven't noticed any real issues thus far - if anything changes, I'll update my review. OVERALL: For me, yes it's definitely worth the money. If you're considering it and you're on the fence (and I understand why you might be), I say go for it. I'm very satisfied, hopefully nothing changes in time. Buying refurbished is a great way (in theory, lol) to save money while still getting a phone you really want (I think they're normally way overpriced anyway). Shipping was great (got mine the next day!), no issues with packaging (very safe/secure), and the phone - while not literally FLAWLESS - still looks great, works great, and I look forward to using it for a long time to come! Bought this because my phone died on a whim and needed a phone really bad. I love the green color and phone works like it's supposed to. I selected 'excellent condition', which the phone itself is in pretty decent shape. Has little scratches on the top corners, which is not a big deal to me. The screen wasn't scratched/cracked. The reason for the 4/5 is because the charger doesn't work/sucks. I received the phone, turned it on and it was at 11%. Told me it would take 2 hours to charge, so I put it on the charger and came back in 2 hours. It only charged 3% -so at 14% in total. Luckily my charger for my old phone was the same and worked fine. Also has some white powder residue stuck under the screen alongside the top and right side of the screen. Other than those 2 little slights, phone works great! ... show more

After using it for a few days I can say it's pretty nice, it is carrier unlocked looks brand new mine came with no scuffs Cons: the only issue i have is the performance, I don't know if is the phone or the screen but if feels very choppy and slow especially after transferring data. 60 hz feels awful to use with the highest resolution and the screen is some cheap 3rd party screen that's unresponsive at times and not smooth. Pros: The camera is perfect the sound is perfect, everything works somewhat fine other then the screen If you don't wanna spend another 300 on a official samsung screen I wouldn't recommend buying a refurbished s22u buy a used one from a resell site or buy one new. But if youdo plan of fixing the screen contact a local samsung certified repair shop and replace it there. ... show more

I actually love this phone it is so much smarter than I am and I'm sure that I don't even use a fifth of what it's capable of. Android user then of course you'll find it easy to use I think it's way easier than Apple personally. The quality of the phone is great so long to have a decent screen protector I have dropped mine and accidentally tossed it from the ground so many times and it still works great so it's super durable never freezes up the and works like the 1st day I turned it on. The screen is amazing, pictures are incredible, love the spen feature and so many more that I can't think of anything it doesn't have. ... show more

I was very nervous about ordering a phone from Amazon. I order tons of things from them but electronics is not one of them..several years ago I ordered a phone from Amazon. It was horrible. The battery drained in 5 mins the camera took horrible blurry pictures and this was an iPhone. So I never ordered a phone from Amazon again until now. I read the reviews and decided I would take a chance. The shipping was super fast. The phone is in excellent condition. No signs of use. The battery could be a little better but it doesn't drain real fast and it's a used phone so that's the chance you take. Overall I am very happy with this phone! ... show more
