I don't review often. Something has to he really great iris really terrible. This item is really great! I enjoy cooking and couldn't wait to try this pot out! We were having homemade burgers and fries for dinner. I used my frying pot for my homemade fries. I cut up some potatoes to make my fries and added them to the pot. This is the first time in years my homemade fries cooked evenly. In my skillets the potatoes fried very unevenly. Some would turn out dark brown and almost burnt yet others would be extremely light in color. I'm not sure what the science is behind this pot but the fries cooked evenly to a beautiful golden color and no oil splatter. I'm so happy with this purchase I'm buying 2 more to gift to my friends. ... show more

Although it is by no means it a heavy duty pot, but so far i used it for chicken wings, fried shrimp, and empanadas it worked great keeping the splatter down, Its a great pot for using outdoors as well.

I love this for the French fries! It cooks to the perfection and a plus for the drainer on the top. It cleans off well and we get to reuse this more than once instead of throwing out the old oil. We do sift it before each use and usually only reuse times 2. Great product overall
