🚀 Abunda's Overview

This is our summary and key points to consider based on customer reviews.

The reviews for the holster reveal a mixed response from users. While one user touts it as the best duty holster when combined with a QLS system and a Nub Mod, others have faced significant issues with fitment, particularly when using a Staccato P. Modifications like dremeling are mentioned to resolve some issues, but dissatisfaction with the fit and the holster damaging the gun has been a common complaint.

Pros

  • 👍 Ideal for duty use with added modifications

Cons

  • 👎 Does not fit Staccato P without modifications
  • 👎 May damage the firearm's slide due to poor design
  • 👎 Incorrect item delivered to some buyers

Should I Buy It?

If you're planning to use it with a firearm it was intended for, such as a Glock 17 with specified modifications, it might serve you well. However, if you're a Staccato P owner or want a hassle-free fit, it's advisable to consider other models that offer better compatibility and quality assurance.

  • Best duty holster out there
Hands down the best holster for duty use. Add the QLS system and a Nub Mod and you’re set

  • For a staccato, just not really for a staccat.
the holster is for a Glock 17 with a X300u and the ALS bar is modified for a staccato. the light hits the back of the holster and straight out of box a staccato will not fit in it. at all. you can get the gun in but it wont come out with the retention screw unscrewed completely. i dremeled the back end of the holster to allow the light to fit in and that "fixed" the fitment issue but now it wont lock in at all. which makes sense since the light is what the holster usually clings to for the fitment. i would just avoid this holster completely and get a 6354RDSO-2582-701-MS19 holster. thats the whole SKU. this one blows. i was able to get this one working but for the money the fitment sucks. ive already had to return two holsters to amazon each one taking about a month to refund. just do yourself a favor and spend the extra money on safarilands website or a actual dealer. ... show more

  • Safariland doesn't make good fitting holsters for Staccato
Not sure why this is. I had a 6360RD before and also then I had to heat the muzzle end of the holster with a heat gun in order for the ALS to work correction. (note, the level 3 6360 is NOT good for the staccato due to SLS placement and the extended beavertail of Staccato) But I am a gear nerd and I am able to make it work. Once modified, this holster is awesome. Hopefully someone else has better luck but that has been my experience with Safariland + Staccato, but the alternatives are NOT safe for duty use (i.e. Blackhawk). ... show more

  • How could safariland put out this garbage? This holster will get you killed
The media could not be loaded. Not only did my holster show up with obvious wear marks from being used, it was hit or miss whether or not my pistol would seat into the holster. It is the correct holster for my staccato. The ALS lever needs to be buried between the holster edge and hood so you have to use the very tip of your thumb or thumb nail to deactivate it. I wish I could give negative stars for a bad design. ... show more

  • Not good for Staccato
This is not a good holster for the Staccato P! This holster is a poor designed duty holster and needs to be correct for anyone who wants to carry a staccato P. The holster will scuff and mall the slide when holstering the gun. This is caused by the ALS rubbing the slide.

  • Total scam
This was supposed to be for a staccato. Wasn’t even the holster pictured let alone for a staccato. And it was used and worn!!!!! Was a holster for a Glock. Not even this model. Total crap
