This is my third "Rustic Town" leather accessory I've purchased, the other two being their tubular pencil cases. I have bought all three to bring some organization to my Saddleback satchel. First off, the quality of leather for the price is outstanding. They have that slightly-distressed brushed suede look that only gets better with use. Smells good too, none of that funky PU Chinese chemical smell (by the way, I always thought "PU" was an appropriate name considering how horrid that stuff smells). I use the tubular bags for cables, medicine vials, connectors and such. Works great to keep my bag from becoming a dump station that I have to dig around in to find stuff. But I bought this one because some of the new USB-C dongles for Mac's are quite large, as are some of my power supply bricks for various gadgets I carry with me. What I really like about this one is the triangular shape. For a leather satchel with front side leather straps, its normal for the bag to be wider on the bottom, because as you cinch down the straps it pulls in the top of the bag. So what you end up with is a, you guessed it, slightly triangular shape. I bought two of these and they wedge nicely against one another, filling a space about the size of a normal hardcover book, but creating a perfect cube when stacked together. Love this! Wow, is it good quality and gorgeous. Well made. Craftmanship is the sort you find in an item about 4 times more expensive. Leather is thick. Sewing is straight. There is a somewhat strong natural leather scent at first, no stink or ick, just a strong natural leather scent. If that bothers you, plan enough time for it to air out. It comes wrapped in plastic, in a nice carrying case so you need to remove the plastic to let it air out. I have two, one dark gray and one medium brown. Both are gorgeous. The brown has more leather marks on it and the dark gray is more uniform toagne. These are large. Would make a good small dopp kit or makeup bag. Certainly big enough for all the office supplies you may carry with you. Good toiletry bag. This is SUCH a nice bag! ... show more

If you carry a lot of writing utensils as I do, and like the quality and look of leather, you would be hard-pressed to find a better value then this case. The pouch held 60 new, sharpened pencils as well as 3 full-size erasers. My pouch is darker in the photos than when it arrived because I rub down all my leather goods with Renapur Balsam to help waterproof and keep the leather supple. This is a beautifully crafted product made from a superior quality leather. I was dubious at first to purchase it, as it was at a reasonable price and seemed too good to be true. I therefore read the product reviews, all of which were 4 stars or above, and I decided to buy this. I am very happy that I did. I received it today, and it is so well made and the smell of leather is divine. The stitching, fastenings and zips are all done to a high standard. I am very impressed with this product and I highly recommend it. The seller also included a hand signed note which detail how to keep the item in top condition, as well as detailing who made the product, where the money for this product goes etc. If you are a conscientious purchaser, you will want to buy from Rustic Town. This case is very nicely made inside and out. The leather is an even "vintage" tone without significant blemishes. The stitching is even and straight. The zippers are good quality and operate smoothly. Both the main pocket and the smaller side pocket are fully lined. It's long enough for most pencils or pens, and it holds what I'd call a solid handful of drawing implements. The triangular ends are stiff enough to provide good protection to delicate pencil points, but they still have enough give to squeeze into a backpack. For my purposes (about 10 lead holders, leads, erasers and a few pens), it is perfect. Well worth the cost. And very little odor of any kind. ... show more

I actually bought this to use as a small toiletries bag to keep in my purse (deodorant, feminine hygiene products, hair brush and ties.) It fits all of those items, although it is a bit snug (the interior is padded, which is nice, but does reduce room a bit.) My purse is a large, hobo style crossbody, and this fits in it easily. I wanted something I could take into the bathroom that wasn't my giant bulky purse, and that would keep everything organized and in one place. This does the trick nicely, and I especially like the flat bottom design and that it doesn't slouch. It's fairly soft, the brown looks like it does in the picture. I could also probably throw lipstick/chapstick/eyeliner/other make up in there as well, although you might have trouble with larger eye shadow pallets, or foundation containers (if you chose to use it for non stationary items as I did.) ... show more

This is a lovely pencil case. I really love it’s leather, it looks “rustic” as its brand says. This is the second one that I bought. The color is darker but as beautiful as my first one. I’m going to use it for my SAKURA Micron pens. My first one is over 4 years old, and I use it on a daily basis, it gets prettier and softer over the years. The craftsmanship is excellent quality, every single stitch is perfect. I got so many compliments whenever I go with my planner and this case. Probably I will buy a third one for my makeup. The package was delivered on time, and intact. I opened it and found a piece of cardboard wrapped around the pouch. The cardboard had discoloration on it from the dye. The pouch itself had an irregular distribution of dye, apparently because it was shipped while still wet. I am disappointed about this. One thing that I've learned, and failed to recall in this instance, is that products that do well on Amazon reviews, and sell a tremendous amount of product, eventually begins to fail because of customer demand. Thus, I did not follow my usual steps in considering this with this highly rated product. Meanwhile, I've left it out to see if it will dry and no longer stain. ... show more
