The media could not be loaded. I wanted a larger cutting mat to go on my table! This one was pink which is even more of an added bonus to the low amount! I was very surprised at how durable and beautiful this cutting mat is! Definitely well worth the money! This will be an amazing addition to your craft room! Now for the added extras, let’s talk about the rotary cutting tool. Be worn. It is very, very very sharp. I love that the handle is what makes us so safe. So when you’re cutting, you squeeze in cut when you let go the blade is covered. So much better than the other ones you find online and in your local box store you have to slide up and down the cover manually. This one is automatic and there even is a locking button so you can lock it when not in use. The eclipse are adorable. I don’t even want to use them because they’re so cute compared to all the other ones I bought that are clear one side color on the other. These are pink and pink. The clear, acrylic ruler is so beautiful in very sturdy, very thick, and it comes with a Little Circle pieces to put on the bottom of your ruler, and there’s enough to put on the bottom of your cutting mat if you need! I bought this when it was a little bit more and then went on sale and it would’ve been about six dollars cheaper but I’m not complaining because it’s beyond worth the amount they charge for it! ... show more

If you are considering buying this, get it! I am a regular crafter, quilter but my craft room is in storage currently. I was itching for a project but couldn’t find any of my cutting stuff. I decided to buy this, hoping the quality was good even though it was cheaper than a name brand I have in many of my cutting notions. This exceeds my expectations! I can’t talk to the self healing of the mat yet since I’ve only used it the one time so far but it is a very thick, double sided mat. The ruler is very sturdy, shorter than the mat but it’s fine, it works for small to medium projects. The other notions are great as well. The rotary cutter though, that is my favorite! Like it is now going to be my favorite rotary cutter! I have several in storage but this one will be put to the forefront once it comes out. It is smooth, blades are sharp, handles great size, and I LOVE the safety button. It locks the blade in place but when it’s not locked, it retracts the blade when you left go of the “trigger”. Meaning, every time I am done cutting and I lay it down, the blade is safely closed. I know there are others out there like this but I don’t have one and I have several name branded cutters. This cutting mat set is great and I can't recommend it enough. I got the 36"x24" and it is by far the best cutting mat I have ever gotten and the thickest. I was able to over most of my large Ikea desk with it and when I cut anything on it the blade glides on it easily and doesn't cut it immediately. I also love the rotary cutter that it came with because it's super easy to hold and the blade is super sharp on it so it cuts fabric like butter. And the acrylic ruler is super nice quality as well. This entire kit even the clips are just a great kit for a starter or even a professional. I 10/10 can't recommend it enough. So worth the price. ... show more

It has been a while since I've done any sewing so I had to order almost all new supplies because I either got rid of what I had or items were lost. Many times "kits" are of mediocre quality to save on costs. However, I resolved to be satisfied with what I purchased because I would only need the items for a short time to complete a few projects. Therefore, I chose a product with a price I could live with. When I got ready to begin my projects, ( I am making 7 teddy bears from my dad's old shirts or my 5 nieces, my daughter, and my great niece) I was amazed at the quality of the items! One of the reasons I quit sewing was because of the arthritis in my hands, but the ergonomic rotary cutter alleviated the pain and fatigue I would normally have after cutting so much fabric. It really feels great in my hand, and not difficult to engage the cutter like the one I've had for years. The mat is double-sided, durable, and heavy, and is the perfect size for the small space I have to work in. The extra blades and the clips are an added bonus. It did take me a while to figure out what the peel-away disks are for, but I think they should be used on one side of the mat to prevent it from slipping. There was nothing in the package to indicate how they should be used, and I couldn't find anything in the description. Very happy with this product! It was very obviously packaged with care and has everything you need to get started right off the bat. This is the PERFECT kit to try out quilting and I’d absolutely recommend it! So happy I caved and bought it!!! The sharpness of the blade is perfect. There’s 5 replacement blades also which I am happy about. The cutter has a safety button and works well. Doesn’t feel cheap. The cutting mat is a perfect size for making squares. Very sharp and cuts thru fabric easily for precise cutting and leaves no jagged cuts like from scissors. Bought to cut neckline in sweatshirts and t-shirts and am impressed on the way it cuts. The cutting board works well to ensure you only cut thru one layer.

Great quality. Comes with sharp blades and a thick matt. I honestly was just expecting it to be a beginner version especially with the price this low but was pleasantly surprised. Ive seen quality like this before but usually for $60 at a minimum.
