  • They're not lightweight
Color: Transparent Magnification Strength: 1.0 x
These definitely weigh my glasses down when I use them...it can tend to give me a headache after a while so I don't use them too often. But they do work nicely when I need readers but don't have my contacts in. Probably wouldn't be bad at all with a strap around the back of the head to hold one's glasses on...I just haven't tried that yet. These are like Dwayne Wayne meets Golden Girls...not gonna lie, I love flipping them up...my husband and kids think it's so silly, hehehe! ... show more

  • tried to use for computer
Color: Transparent Magnification Strength: 1.0 x
works well for reading , but based on my visual acuity needed a lower strength lens, unfortunately no one seems to be making anything less than 1+

  • just what I needed and works; could use some tweaks
Color: Transparent Magnification Strength: 1.0 x
Overall, highly recommended. I'm late 40s and have presbyopia and astigmatism. I wear night contacts (vision shaping gas-permeables) while I sleep and I wear glasses during the day to correct for leftover astigmatism for computer work, driving and watching tv. When I take the contacts out in the morning sometimes my vision is a bit farsighted which makes reading text difficult ranging from 1 foot away to sometimes 5 feet. With these flip lenses I now realize how much my vision changes during the day and where my natural focal point lies. I use the +1.0 flip glasses for work so I can better read text on paper but also sometimes see the computer monitors. Throughout the day my vision gets less farsighted to the point where +1.0 is too much to see my monitor so I flip the lenses up. I then flip the lenses down to read text or see my cell phone/tablet. Until I got these flip lenses I was using my cell phone's camera app to read text on paper and fine print on labels which wasn't efficient. I wish they offered +0.5/+0.75 lenses because sometimes +1.0 is too much. I wish the lenses weighed half as much because the lenses push down on my nose at least noticeably as a slight irritant. My glasses seem to slide down my nose just a little which makes it feel as if my eyeglasses are on the verge of sliding off my nose. I also wish they offered also a slightly smaller size. The lenses are big enough for one set of eyeglasses but they are about 1/4" too tall for another pair. ... show more

  • Convenience
Color: Transparent Magnification Strength: 2.0 x
This is my second pair. I use them for work and they fit my regular glasses very well. Makes seeing close up easier without having to switch glasses.

  • To the rescue of a farsighted glasses wearer
Color: Transparent Magnification Strength: 2.5 x
Having prescription glasses for eyes of different strengths, replacing them with normal reading glasses was a problem. These clipon over my prescription glasses are the answer. In addition, when I don't need their extra magnification I flip them up. I have two pairs of different powers which work wonders doing tedious detail work in my shop. ... show more

  • Good reading glasses
Color: Transparent Magnification Strength: 2.5 x
These work well for reading, surfing the web, doing taxes, etc. They surprisingly work at a range of several feet, so you don’t have to hold something really close to read it. While they are pretty lightweight, I found they did make my glasses ride down a bit on my nose(probably due more to my glasses needing adjustment). While $4 more, I recommend these over the more square lensed Carsons. ... show more

  • They work, with one caveat.
Color: Transparent Magnification Strength: 1.5 x
These are my go-to readers, since I don't wear bifocals (yet). They work well, but they necessarily add a bit of weight to your eyeglasses, and if you're not careful, the clips will scratch a small part of your lenses just aside from the bridge. Even if you are careful, they will ultimately scratch that area over the course of a year or so. ... show more

  • Worked great until it flew apart
Color: Transparent Magnification Strength: 1.25 x
It was great to have the reading glasses attached to my regular glasses (I don't have bifocals). I used them at work all day. After 4 months, however, they flew apart when I was clipping them on. I have all three pieces and it doesn't appear that any of them are broken. I just can't get it back together because the spring is so strong. ... show more
