It has 3 fan speeds. The lower the fan speed, the colder the air I measured out of the register. The temp was 48.9 F at the lowest fan speed, 50.2 degrees for the middle speed, and 52.2 degrees with the highest speed, while the thermostat was set to ~83 or 84 F. On the initial testing day my "two-car" garage was cooled from 97.5 to the mid 80s by early evening, and eventually 82 to 83 by pre-sunrise. Now that it's up and running, this bad boy seems capable of maintaining at least the mid 80s in my garage on a day with a high temperature at or above 112-114 outside. In other words, it keeps the my garage more than cool enough to hang out. It's the difference between being able to be in my garage to work in the middle of Summer, e.g. to fill up my tires, saw a piece of wood or process loads of laundry, or not being able to hang out, without the help of fans positioned in adjacent rooms or without the main house's adjacent room door's open or ajar. I’m not sure what people were saying about this being insanely quiet. It’s quieter than other loud portable AC units but it’s not whisper quiet, even on low fan setting. The things that were more important to me is the size of the unit and it’s efficiency in my 2 bedroom apartment. The weight is much more manageable, the noise is better than most on the market, and it’s profile stays out of the way nicely. The prices for all the models from this company are also very competitive and worth it. This units primary use is in bedrooms. For a space like the average living room or common home space, you might want to go up 1 size unit in higher BTUs. ... show more

El aire enfría una habitación máxima de 4*4 bien mas de ahí complejo. Hace un ruido considerable entre 45-50 dB (modo full frio). para poder trabajar cómodo es mejor enfriar la habitación y posterior usar solo el ventilador que disminuye los dB a mas o menos 20-15 dB. Punto negativo que no se pueda usar con Alexa o cualquier otro asistente. Otro punto negativo es que el control no tiene luz interna para el momento de estar acostado y quieras apagarlo no se puede ver nada de nada toca que encender una luz o la luz del cel para poder mirar. ... show more

I can’t believe how much the water produced from this air conditioner. The picture show the amount of water produced after 8 hours. It’s can be used as water making machine. I have to remember to keep an eye on it and keep it from getting flooded. I give it 4 stars because it working in cooling down our room, minus water issue. Easy installation all around and it works well. It is quieter than most A/C of the same style we've seen so far. Now, it's a question of how long it will last. That's the issue we've experienced in the past with other A/Cs. They last usual no more than 3 years for us. Gingers crossed o this one.

Thank goodness my old cooler needed replaced just before a hot spell. Paid extra for earlier delivery so only had one awful hot night. Set up in about 10 minutes and was cooling right away. I really like the swing action which spreads the air around. My old one only had air coming out one way. I already love this portable air conditioner. Does exactly what we need for our space. We use it during the hot months only. Bought one for our bedroom and one for our sons bedroom. Energy saving and cools down the entire room. It’s smaller than most I’ve seen and saves space.
