  • Lights are Gimicky but Vibration is Nice and Bristles Work Well
The LED lights on this unit appear to be standard red and blue LEDs. They look really nice but I don't think they do anything more than that. They're pretty bright but you'd probably get as much benefit from them as a bright red and blue 7-segment nightstand clock. I love the rubberized ball with the flattened sides. Kinda looks like a 100 sided dice that was chopped at the end to put the light/rubber head onto it. Very stylish though and I think it looks great on the side of the tub. I've used it several times so far to wash my face, the first was washing off a mud mask and the second was with Dove body wash. The mud mask was definitely my favorite by far and left my skin feeling soft and clean. The Dove body wash left my skin clean but not quite as soft. I tried the massage nubs rubberized head to massage my neck and shoulders but found it didn't do quite as well as the bristle head for my face. The nubs sleeve just kept slipping around and off the unit while I was massaging. I tried using it super softly on my face but it didn't feel like it was cleaning as well as the bristles sleeve. Will probably never use this head but someone else might figure out a better way to use it? The battery compartment is behind the LED cover and there's a rubber ring around the side. I've used this in the shower both times and haven't seen any water inside the cover so it seems like it's a good seal at least for keeping water splashes out of the device. The button is on the side, easy to find even with your eyes closed but because of the shape and size I found it easy to not accidentally press while also being easy to turn the unit on and off. The first press turns on the lights, the second press turns on the lower vibration speed, the third press turns on the higher vibration speed, and the fourth press turns off the vibration. The lights time out after ~30-60 seconds of the vibration motor being off. ... show more

  • Broken even the replacement
I really wanted to to try this product and see how it works. First time it came, all the parts were in shambles with water stains on the part where the led lights come on. The replacement arrived in a better condition without any signs of a usage in its appearance but not in a working order. I read all the directions and changed batteries multiple times, but the button lit up a few times and it went cold. Can't recommend from my experience. ... show more

  • A slightly better sonic cleanser
I'm not entirely sold on how the light therapy works while washing your face since the other light therapy products from the same brand indicate you need to have the light directly on the skin not moving for at least 3minutes. With that said, I do like that it comes with a silicon brush head and that I can use just the light setting while traveling for the light therapy benefits as well as for cleansing. Another downside is that it is battery operated and would've been nice if it were rechargeable. Overall I'm still enjoying it but just not expecting any miracles. :) ... show more

  • Nice
The media could not be loaded. Nice quality product. Combines light therapy and sonic vibration cleansing in one easy to use device. Which is super convenient and cuts time out of my nightly routine. Works great!! I was a bit skeptical at first as to if it would help with acne but i can already notice an improvement after only using it for a few weeks!! Easy storage. Takes batteries (not included). It’s a little pricey but you get what you pay for. Great value. ... show more

  • Not worth it to replace in months
Just a few months in my revive doesn’t work at all. I don’t think moisture was consider in the case or the manufacturing. It should be rechargeable and not from batteries.

  • Multi use and compact for battery powered
I've used several different light therapy devices to tackle acne. One perk that's not widely known is that your FSA or HSA may cover the light devices. I've not submitted this one (can't cause it's a vine order), but I know all my other ones have been covered by my FSA. I own the older handheld revive light therapy device for acne. I use it for spot treatments when I'm traveling. Flights, long drives, stuffiness, usually all cause me to break out. I also have a full face mask (not by this maker) that I use at flare-ups around my cycle. I don't travel with that one as it's an awkward shape I wouldn't want to be damaged. My skin isn't sensitive to light nor and I am on medication that might make me light sensitive. Blue light and Red light have been really good for me. The blue light brings my cystic acne bumps down significantly in a day of use, and the red light helps draw blood to the area helping it heal faster than the norm. So I'm sold on light therapy So on to this little device. It's a bit larger than my handheld so this will be staying in my bathroom. I could travel with it, but I don't normally carry AAA batteries with me to replace them. When I travel, it's usually a 2-week trip. This also means I can travel with my handheld one and not have to worry about unpacking it. I don't have a daily routine with light therapy, so I can easily use this in my routine with my face wash. Since I have other devices, I'd say I'm not the best to review this one alone as I use others. I will say this is the most affordable one of all my devices. I like that you can use it for light therapy alone, so I have uncapped the gel head and turned on the light therapy to use at my desk and it does work. The thing about the therapy is that time matters. The longer you hold it, the more the bacteria die off. 15 min is the max I've used for any light therapy as I wouldn't want to overdo it. I also have eye protection that has come with my other devices. This one didn't come with eye protection. I suppose if you're using it with soap and moving it around with your eyes closed you probably don't need it. If you're using it uncapped in light mode only, I wouldn't recommend using it near your eyes without blocking off the side leak. Hope this review or even just the pictures were useful in your decision to purchase or not to purchase. The 👍helpful👍 feedback is much appreciated. Cheers 🍻!
