The skates seem great, for the price -- decent construction, and smooth-rolling wheels. However, the size chart is bonkers! I ordered size 45, after scrutinizing (and being puzzled by) the weirdly inconsistent size chart -- and the skates are far too small; they fit like about a U.S. women's 10, at most. Generally, a woman's U.S. size 11 is comparable to an EU size 42 (occasionally 41 or 43), or a U.S. men's size 9.5 or 10. And a U.S. women's 11.5 would would typically be about a 43. (I wear a women's 11 or 11.5, depending on the brand: 11 in J. Crew, Madewell, and Tretorn; 11.5, or 42 or 43, in Tamara Mellon, Sarah Flint, M. Gemi, Bernardo, Rondini, etc.; and a men's 10 in Allbirds tennies, and running, gym, and soccer shoes.) Presenting a women's size *13* as approximately an EU 45, and a U.S. men's 10, but having an insole measurement of about a U.S. women's size 10.5, which would be about a men's size 9, makes NO sense -- especially since the size 45 skates I received are even shorter than the cited insole measurement (which should have yielded about a size 11 skate). TL/DR: The size 45 skate is really the size of about a women's U.S. 10 or 10.5, or size 40 or 41. On another note -- and this would not have been a deal-breaker for me if the skates had fit -- the left skate arrived rather scuffed and dirty on one side of the toe box. Both of my granddaughters LOVE their skates. They go to the indoor skating rink often to use them. If you are wanting the skates to be used indoor and outdoor you will need to order additional wheels so you can change them as needed.

They are not bad starter skates for kiddos! The fabric is made cheep and I don’t believe that are good for extender wear nor will they last longer than several months, but for preteens, not a bad buy!
