    • Works like a champ
Hooked it up to the DC side of my off grid cabin and it works great. I use it as the main breaker to the DC side so I am turning it on and off every time I come and go. The system has only been installed a month but so far no complaints.

    • not sure why people are having accuracy issues
I bought this for my standby power battery stacks to prevent shorts melting stuff had one unit powering my ENTIRE output of 500w, which is about 60A of load average idle if other reviews were accurate that would have warmed the unit into a thermal trip causing brownouts I think those people were using the wrong rating for the surge load of trolling motors, motors can pull 3-5x the running load at startup didn't really reach 100A sustained(no way to accurately test that for me) so not sure if these can be weak(trip at maybe 80a) otherwise just tighten the nuts hard and make sure you don't rely on this as a disconnect, I suspect frequent manual tripping damages them from how they feel after just a few trips ... show more

This is for the 100A version. Not what I expected. The terminals are very small, maybe M4. Much smaller than M8 that is found on most 12V batteries. The unit as a whole is small, and I doubt that it could reliably handle 100A. It is too small for my use. The description should include the size of the terminals. ... show more
