Cats loved them. Too bad they are soo thin 1 bite from my cat and the stick fractured causing him to choke on stick fragments stuck to the barbs on his tongue. This specific product is a foreign body waiting to happen there are much better silver vine sticks out there. That has to be more than 1/4" in diameter, 90% of these didn't even make the 1/8th mark. As I'm writing this my cats want soo badly to chew these but not with this brand, too small. ... show more

    • A Must-Have for Kitties who Enjoy Catnip!

These catnip sticks are FANTASTIC! By introducing our kitties (all are doll-face Persians) to these sticks, their "appetite" for cardboard (and God help them, plastics) have been refocused onto these little gems! Additionally, I gave a couple sticks to my mom for her doll-face Persian, but come to find out not only does her kitty 💜 them, but get yorkie does as well. 😆🤣 These were a true hit in BOTH homes! These sticks have been described in other reviews as "twigs probably found in their backyard". That may or may not be true, it doesn't matter where they found the sticks. What matters is the fact that they're CLEAN, and processed/boiled in catnip effectively (I have to wonder, did the people who wrote those reviews actually think that catnip grew on trees???). Anyhow, none of those in the package I received had mold on them, and the fact that they are produced here in the U.S. makes me feel a lot better about giving them to my fur-babies. Not all kitties will like these, cuz not all kitties like catnip, but for those that do this product is a happy MUST-HAVE! I truly hope your babies enjoy them as much as ours do! ... show more

I have given these catnip sticks to my cat for months without issue- until this week. My cat’s gums were severely swollen and bleeding and I brought him to the emergency room, and the vet extracted small pieces of wood from the catnip sticks from his gums. Luckily he is okay after antibiotics, pain killers and hundreds of dollars. PLEASE do NOT buy these for your pet. ... show more

My local pet store ran out of Matatabi cat sticks during the pandemic and hasn’t been able to get anymore in. I ordered these in hopes my 14 year old tabby would love them just as much. I think she loves them MORE. They’re the perfect size as they’re natural and the vine is thin. She goes crazy over these and chews the bark off down to the bone. My cat is not a kitten but still loves to chew on things. I think it’s his breed. He loves to chew on these. I’ve had thicker sturdier ones before but he doesn’t mind! The only problem with this type of product is the cat can’t hold them. !!!! I have to find sturdy places to stick them. My cat loves Catnip with Slivervine so when I saw these Silvervine Sticks I figured I would give them a try. And I am glad I did. I held one out for my cat and his eyes got big and he grinned and slowly grabbed it in his mouth and lay out full length and started chewing it. He chews on it for a while, then carries it around with him as he follows me from room to room. This is one of the best treats, I have found that my cat really loves. My cats love this! I got it because I got a toy that looked like a dumbbell with compressed catnip on each end and it was a silver one stick in the middle. My outside cat loved it! Drooled everywhere and I had to take it away because he got kinda mean about it. So I ordered this and my kitties LOVE them! Handed one of these to each of my two cats, they looked at me like I was crazy. Sticks are for dogs! a minute or so later they were rolling on the sticks, chewing them and flinging them across the room. The little one that I bought these for (she keeps chewing on cords, elastic bands, anything that can get in her teeth) flung hers under a chair and when I pulled it out to hand it to her I had to get bandages, almost lost a finger!
