Doesn't stick to the floor or wall, both smooth surfaces. Sticks great to its self though! It's almost translucent so it doesn't show up on a darker floor either. Directions are a joke.

This is just as awesome as I wanted it to be, and I had to leave this review because I'm usually a purchaser of four stars and above and at the time of leaving this review, it only has 3.5. My kiddo loves the floor is lava videos and volcanos in general, and with Halloween approaching, this sticker was a must have. It's not huge (as you can see in the picture), but it's exactly what I was imagining. They were even smart enough to do the little pieces that come off separately so they don't rip when you take the sticker off. It was totally easy to put on...and yes, there's little air pockets that were impossible to avoid, but you can't tell from a distance ...and no one really lays that close to my floor. :) I love it! ... show more

The graphic on the wall sticker is really nice, but that's about the only nice thing I have to say. I fought with this to get it straight and on the wall for about two days. It stuck to itself more than it stuck to the wall. By the time I got it straight and on the wall, it must have lost half its stickiness and it kept peeling off or falling away. I got frustrated and tried to take it down and it was taking the paint off with it! I'm frustrated that I threw away the packaging and cannot return it, because I don't even want to look at it anymore and now I have to paint over patches on my wall. ... show more

I bought this for my son’s floor is lava birthday party and it was a hit! It wasn’t too hard to out down- adhesion was great. We kept it on the fake wood floor for about 6 weeks, and it never curled up during that time. It had easy directions to follow where the little pieces were to be stuck down at. I would buy this again. I would love larger sizes offered! The size it was was great though. Because we left it on for 6 weeks, the color wore a little towards the end from us all walking on it all day. It came off best with a heat gun, otherwise some residue was left behind in areas we took off without the heat gun. It may have come off without residue left behind had we taken it off soon after the event, but the residue can be cleaned off the floor easy also. I am happy with this product and would buy it again. This was extremely sticky. I wasted my money. Bc when I took it off the paper it got stuck together and I wad unable to unstuck it. If you open it without sticking it to each other I'm sure I will do its job.
