My daughter just turned 12 and is shifting into a more boho/minimalist aesthetic in her bedroom. When she re-did her décor, she said a “feature light” was a must-have. This absolutely fit the fill. Went together incredibly easy, just screwing one element into another. Smart bulb and remote also worked perfectly, and it even has a timer function, which my daughter will use at bedtime. Knotwork looked just as pictured and well done. I mentioned customer service because our initial order was defective: The threads of one the pole ends were stripped, which lent to a very wonky, unstable pole. We asked for a replacement and it came two days later. (We did have to return the original via UPS – no charge.) Just be aware this is more of an ambient light. It will illuminate a room, but I wouldn’t recommend it for eyesight-dependent task. More for mood setting (love the warm glow level!). ... show more

The lamp shade has a hanger or prongs for the bamboo shade to stay on however the prongs are not long enough for the putter shade to stay on.
