The quality on this is terrific. Because of the level of traffic (and spills) we have had to wash this more than average (6 times in 5 months) and there are weak/holey spots in the rubber backing where the rug folded over in the washer because of this (we took no precautions - ie, we have abused this rug). Even so, it still looks fantastic. For the price, I would buy it again - if only because the german shepherd loves them so much (we have 2, and a smaller doormat that gets the same abuse, but has had no issues at all) I particularly like this pattern, because the robot vacuum doesn't push hair into the grooves nearly as much as the other pattern we have. The rug will not slip, it catches grass and debris and keeps it from being tracked onto the floor. It’s flat so the door doesn’t catch on it, it’s soft and I can vacuum it easily to get the debt off of it. I like the deep blue color. I have a second rug just like it underneath my chair to keep my chair from slipping on the tile floor. I haven’t had to wash it yet because it’s easy to shake or vacuum. A friend of mine was raving about her PURRUGS Tracker doormat. She was so convincing I ordered one. Why didn't she tell me sooner? We live in a very rainy part of the US where shoes and cats' paws tend to drag in water, dead leaves, grass clippings, and some dirt. This rug is like a Check-Point at the border. Just wipe your shoes and the 'unpleasant-nesses' are left behind by both humans and animals. Washes and dries well, remaining soft - just follow instructions on the tag.
