After researching the sauna box vs nurecover steam saunas, I hopped on Amazon to compare off brand saunas. The relax cube seemed to be a good comparison to size, durability and quality for the price. According to the listing It is also Safe and VOC-Free. RelaxCube steam sauna meets the US ASTM-D5116 standard, ensuring no detectable VOCs. Enjoy a worry-free experience in a sauna that prioritizes both your safety and effectiveness. Many other brands on Amazon did not have this stated in listing and I chose this brand for that reason. I keep it in the home gym so it is a permanent fixture with no need to store. I have used it approx 10 times for 30 min each session so far and the provided thermometer has not read more that 105 degrees with each use. It provides good heat and of course the steam will make your skin wet, but it creates a nice steam/heat inside the enclosed box for a relaxing experience. I allow it to heat 15-20 minutes before ready to step in and it has not reached 129 degrees at the highest level 9 even after running for an hour. As for the chair, I am 5’6” 130 pounds and it doesn’t cradle your neck unless you slouch, and it has already begun to tear on both sides. We have other chairs to use so no big deal but the quality of material isn’t that great on this particular chair. So far so good and enjoy using the RelaxCube steam sauna after workouts. I have to admit to never having been in a sauna before until using this one. I really like the whole experience, and I feel more relaxed and mellow after using it. The assembly was easy requiring no tools and took me about 1.5 hours to do. I initially set it up outdoors because I was concerned about the humidity factor indoors. But at 50 degrees (F) ambient temperature, I was unable to get the inside temperature above the mid 90s. The user manual is not specific about normal sauna temperatures, but online references say 150 - 180 (F) is normal and this portable unit didn't approach that in cooler outdoor temps. Inside is a different story and I achieved temps closer to the referenced figures when I moved it indoors. FAQ says no problems with the extra humidity indoors, and I tend to think this is accurate after several indoor sessions. Operation of the unit is simple with a steamer unit that holds about 2.5 liters of water, enough for just under 1 hour's worth of steam at the highest heat setting. Selectable time and heat settings are the only controls and there's a remote that I haven't taken into the unit for fear of ruining it (manual doesn't say if it can survive the humidity). A handy waterproof cell phone enclosure is included and works well. The included chair is a little on the low side and my knees were bent past 90 degrees while in it. And the steam pot sits under the chair and it, and its hose get extremely hot to the touch and is a burn hazard. But overall, my experience with this product is very positive and I actually feel physically better now that I am using this sauna, and that's worth a good review! ... show more

Nice solid made equipment. Easy to assemble and works absolutely great. Standing up helps with the effectiveness of the steam, since warm air rises. I definitely recommend the product. The only drawback is that the remote does not work.

The sauna itself is wonderful. But my remote and my chair came broken and appears to be used previously which caused me not to use it . I have no idea how to contact someone for a new chair and remote .
