All the features work great except FAC. There is an insert that explains that the Chlorine detector gets buildup on it and if it reads low, or not at all, to soak in liquid chlorine and then try again. This worked for about a minute then stopped again. Tried this twice.

Edit: Pic shows clearly about 3ppm on the left with a typical drop-system; and reading only 0.2 on the Orapxi Digiital Reader. I was looking for an easy solution to test chlorine, something easier than the typical "drops" method. I know the city water supply here in Scottsdale is very close to 3ppm. I expected a reading somewhere between 2.8 & 3.2ppm. What I got was 0.1ppm. That is absolutely not accurate. The city doesn't give you chlorine-free water. I tested from my garden hose (and I was careful to let the water run a few minutes first to be sure it was clear) and I also tested from the front yard main water supply coming in from the city. Then I tested my RO drinking water and it said "0.1" This thing is useless, and for this price I will go back to the drops method which costs $9.95 and is accurate. ... show more

Product works good and readings are relatively accurate, except it will not measure chlorine level of my swimming pool. The tester only mearures 0.1 or 0.2 ppm of free chlorine when two brands of test strips and the local pool service store measures well above that. Even using a test solution where I raised the chlorine level slowly from 0 to >5 ppm, the tester only read 0.1 or 0.2 ppm until it blanked out at higher chlorine levels.
