    • A worthy addition to any Pokemon game collection
Very nice graphics and gameplay, but the storyline is standard run-of-the-mill Pokemon fare, though. The control scheme can also take some getting used to (in tv mode you use only one joycon to manuever but in handheld mode you control in game actions normally with both; in each, motion control plays the significant part in catching Pokemon). Still, this is a very fun game to play and will be enjoyed by Pokemon fans and enthusiasts of all ages. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. This game is down right adorable! I bought I not to long ago and have been playing it none stop. The controls are beginner friendly and it is 2 player co-op compatible. I played through the adventure with my friend and we loved it. Everything came in perfect condition. The box art was cute, the cartridge and pins were undamaged, and the game load up immediately and has no lag. 10/10 game and great packaging. ... show more

I’ve only had it couple days, I just got my 2nd badge. Actually very fun. Great remake from Kanto. I chose Eevee because you can find a wild Pikachu like an hour into the game sooo. But I enjoy it. Came in great condition no scratches etc. Even arrived a day earlier. Great purchase for Gen 1s!

    • Game is worth the money
I should start off saying I’m biased, I started off playing the originals and still have a working gameboy with curly q light that I hope stays working till I have children so they too can enjoy this world. Now for the review at the time of this writing I’ve got about 20+ hours or so in and it’s great! The graphics are quite pleasing and the game is smooth as butter on a hot July day, my only real complaints (and it’s mostly me being picky) are the interaction with Pokémon Go and being able to catch/ transfer some of those Pokémon into your play through. One it takes quite awhile to progress through the game before you can even do it and second it’s kind of a pain in the rear. My other issue is with the scaling when it comes to riding some of the Pokémon, I received an Arcanine from an in game NPC after answering a series of questions (easy enough) but once I pulled out the Pokémon it covers half of the darn screen! Now I had not connected my switch to a television when dealing with this so it may scale appropriately on a TV or monitor but on the handheld it’s simply way too much. All in all the game is wonderful and brings back many memories and has created more in the process. I wish the best of luck to all fellow trainers! ... show more

    • Best Game for All Ages!!
This game does have the Pokémon go mechanic where you do not have to fight wild Pokémon, but I personally prefer it that way. It much less time consuming. It gives a nostalgic feel, the only thing I wish, as a new game, it would include all the Evee evolutions. It only has Flareon, Vaporeon, and Jolteon ... show more
