Love this lamp. It is the best. Love the glow from the shade and not too heavy. Easy to assemble and best to use a butterfly screw for ceiling thru popcorn. My house is older. There is a piece you unscrew to put the light in so don’t get confused thinking something is missing. The rope cord blends well with shade and is not annoying to look at. This pendent light is so cute. It is exactly what I was looking for style-wise. Setup and installation was easy. It is not bright enough to light up a room on its own. It’s bright but still feels like I am squinting my eyes to see. For reference I have three other overhead lights on behind the scenes of the picture. I bought two of these rattan plug in pendant lights. I knew they'd be perfect where I wanted to put them, but first they were going to have to be modified a bit. I didn't use them as hanging pendant lights. I used them where cam lights used to be, so the rope hanging part and the dimmable part were not going to be able to be used. I used just the bamboo area which was extremely easy to put together, and I was able to salvage the cord that was left from the last pendant light we had up. It’s not really bright enough to be used for task lighting, but definitely brings a nice ambience into a room. The shade is sturdy, the cord is very long, and the on/off switch and dimmer are located on the cord. A light bulb was included, so nice bonus.
