These shelves look great, especially for the price. There weren't a ton of reviews when I ordered them so I was holding my breath that they wouldn't look cheesy, tacky, or super fake, and luckily they don't. I'm not sure how they'd do with heavier objects like books, but they are a great display for my jewelry and photo frames. Also, I have gotten away with holding them up with Command Strips and not the screws they came with, so they are apartment/renter friendly. ... show more

I live in 150-year-old house and we have drywall over top of some old slats. The anchors are not meant for drywall They are meant for concrete or brick. I tried putting one in and all it did was make a massive hole in the shelf pulled right out of the wall. The shelves are amazing I love them they're adorable The only issue is with the anchor I ruined a section of my wall. Absolutely love these shelves. Worth the price for sure. It comes with a little level which is pretty cool. They hold my very heavy crystals with ease and look so cute. (Please ignore the ugly walls…I’m in the middle of redoing them) The only tiny thing I didn’t love is that they come with black screws. I thought that was an odd choice for white and gold shelves.
