My 13 year old dog is diabetic and has developed cataracts. I was looking for an eye supplement to help improve her vision and thought these vitamins from PetEyez were worth a try. While they claim to slow cataract formation and offer glaucoma support, if you read the small print, it clearly states that these statements have not been evaluated by the FDA. I wasn't expecting miracles based on the existing condition of my dog's eyes but these may be helpful in earlier stages. I also didn't realize how small these were going to be - about the size of a very small crouton or dogfood kibble. The package is only 1 oz. and there are 35 vitamins so you do the math. I'm not a genius! On the plus side, my dog does enjoy eating them but they would make for a very expensive (and TINY) treat. ... show more

I gave these to my dg for about a month now and although I see some reduction in his tear stains I was hoping they would be cleared up. That being said I do feel these treat may be helping him not have new tear stains but not 100 % positive. I do know that he loves them and they have been a great reward treat. ... show more

    • Dogs love the taste but I didn't notice a difference
Our dogs all gave the treats 2 paws up, however, I'm not sure that I'm seeing any difference. I would continue to use them but these seem to be a bit expensive when I would just be giving as a treat.

    • Used this for 4 days and already seeing improvement.
My little white husky started developing tear tracks a couple of months after his sister passed. I thought it was just a grief thing. The vet said that he may be having a stress related immune reaction to something that's changed, i.e. likely the new dog that we adopted 2 months after her passing. We did some tests and found no allergens to worry about, so the vet suggested looking for something like this to try first over prescribed meds. I was hoping for improvement in a few weeks or something. After 4 days, his tear tracks are noticeably less prominent. I wipe his eyes and fur regularly and he's regularly had a bit of discharge. Lately, it's been perfectly clear. He's still a little weepy, but he's also up in age, and the vet suggested that he's just not able to be as happy, so not as healthy either, since he lost big sis. For now, these are helping out plenty, so I'm very happy with them. He likes the flavor and eats them eagerly and he's a very picky boy about the tastes of supplements. Usually, I have to crush and mix them into his food to sneak them to him, but the eats these right up. I intend to keep buying these, as they do seem to be helping him and he's more comfortable and not rubbing his face on the rugs nearly as much. I'm happy with these and I do recommend these to others whose dogs are having tear track issues as something to try before going to meds. ... show more

    • My dog loves them
My dog has very watery eyes. It almost looks like he’s crying. Got these to see if it would help. So far I haven’t seen any changes because it’s probably too soon to tell. But I will keep using them. He really likes them but can only have one per day. I’ll update if there are any changes.

    • Decent treats but no difference in eyes
As the title says, no difference in Reys eyes. They are decent as treats even if she doesn't exactly love them. Not sire if this is a YMMV situation or not, but they didn't help us.
